  Before attempting to harpoon a killer whale you will want to upgrade your Rowboat Strength, Harpoon Strength and Harpoon Storage. This will make catching the Killer Whale a lot easier.
  
  A Killer Whale can be found around the Cabo de Cruz & Conttoyor fortresses.

  id just like to add that it can be done with out upgrading, just take your time with your shots, i had 3 left after. it took more damage when it was charging me when i put it in his head :)

  Also you have to taken over the Cabo de Cruz fortress before you can attempt in harpooning it.

  I hate hunting. I hate these achievements related to kill innocent critters. I do it just for achievements.

  You should buy the first Jackdaw upgrades from the harpooning categories. Buy at least the level one upgrade of the rowboat armor, harpoon strength and harpoon storage. Then travel to 74,627 (near the Conttoyor Fort: 102,547) . There you should find a killer whale, kill one and the Achievement is yours

  You know its completely random where the Killer Whale will spawn around the fort right? It's not always that precise coordinates!
