2. General hints and tips

There are a few things i found out during my journey to the 1000:

Always carry at least 1 first aid spray with you and KEEP the empty can. You might wonder why you should do that, but well, you can still use it as a thrown grenade if you combine it right. Also duct tape them always because you can increase the damage significantly if combined with the right tools. Also have one flammable spray/lighter combo with you because the flamethrower combination is by far one of the most useful weapons in your armory.

Using 3rd person might be a cool thing, but to be frank the controls in 3rd person are horrible and therefore I strongly recommend that you use the ego perspective (Y) whenever you can. You will also see a lot more and therefore will be in a better position to jump or shoot. However, the big advantage of 3rd person is that no one can sneak up on you from behind. Experiment a little with what you like more but the benefits of first person outweigh third person.

Combine what you can in your inventory to make space for important items. Batteries take a lot of space but gladly come in 8-packs. Discard items you don't really need to make space for better stuff, you simply will drop them to the floor. Also keep in mind that a lot of items can catch fire, so be careful if you use fire bullets (especially if you shoot windows to enter cars, seats can catch fire as well!).

I didn't encounter even one enemy that you can kill without fire, large explosions and high electricity (even ridiculous drops from cliffs or getting hit by cars don't harm normal enemies!). Therefore I recommend carrying always fire bullets instead of the normal ones since those are the only ones that can kill enemies for sure (but be careful, the stronger the enemy, the more often you have to hit the fissure).

Even though you can fight a lot of enemies at once, your weaponry is quite limited. If you happen to get overwhelmed, you don't have to fight them all off, make a run for it. This will spare your supplies, health and most likely, nerves.

Using a car is the best way to get to certain points. Don't be shy to use them, they can certainly save your life or evade large confrontations.
