1. Walkthrough overview
Welcome!
Today, I'll be walking you through the fantastic board game, Carcassonne. 9 of the achievements can be obtained in single player mode, while 3 must be obtained in multiplayer mode. Throughout this walkthrough, assume that I am referring to games in single player mode unless otherwise noted.
To start a standard single player game you have to select "Single Player" from the main menu and then select "Basic Game." As I mention on the next page, the easiest, most common, and my recommended selections for the basic game are: Number of players set to 2, difficulty set to Easy, and River Expansion set to Off. Follower! colors have no effect on the gameplay. They are only used to identify yourself, so feel free to select your favorite color.
To begin a multiplayer game you'll first need to select "Multiplayer" from the main menu, then "Create Match", and then, depending on what type of game you want to play (or in this case, achievement you're going for), either "Player Match" or "Ranked Match." Again, depending on the achievement, you'll have a choice of different options in the next menu. I'll go into more detail on the multiplayer page.
