Looks good. Going to give this a watch!
I wish that other parts of the community there were as receptive to those just trying to learn. We've all got to start somewhere, especially those who didn't do the beta!
That's what sick days are for :)
So so true! It is tempting, trust me ... but we've got people away at work right now so I've gotta pull my weight. When they return though, it might be different!
Impressive stuff nevertheless, mate.
They were talking about adding it in a few months ago, but I guess nothing came of it

Damn their eyes. I wanted fanfares and a medal.
*shakes fist angrily!*

Woot. There ya go.
Oh wow - got there. Must've happened overnight when I was asleep. Thanks everyone!!
Well done - Good to see it happen for a proper game too!
I'd like to get the achievement on this game - put some time and effort into it. Thanks again everyone. :)
I've done what I could with my accounts.
If you make a real game using Project Spark tools, go out of your way to put yourself out there to the community there and get zippo in return - no wonder the instant ...
... win games continue to appear and dominate the Spark feeds - no other games get any meaningful feedback, attention or advice from the community there.

I've received more meaningful feedback from the so-called "evil achievement hunters" on this site about my game than those "real game creators" on Project Spark forums.
We have more of a community here it seems. And yet they complain - what a pack of hypocrites.
I'll keep creating games that I want to create - bugger them. I'll not make the mistake to ask them for feedback or guidance again.
But next time they complain on their forums about the "instant win games" ... well, they don't have a leg to stand on really.
We all know, but at this point Team Dakota isn't offering any feedback to accommodate either side, so the "community" takes it upon themselves to "fix" the problem.
It is really disappointing. I was genuinely looking forward to some ideas or advice on aspects of the game I created. Even put it up in the forums there to ask. Nothing.
That super active community though! They are the voice of the masses. What with the 10k+ people who are ruining their feeds! Unless the devs get a SERIOUS amount of
support from their microsoft overlords i have a feeling this game is going to stay niche and crash and burn hard.
The game has so so much potential. But there is a massive risk, as you say izret, of it falling if the community surrounding it behaves like they are.
Actually asked for genuine feedback in their "play this creation" forum - 10 hours or so later, 25 people have read the post, no-one has commented. I wonder if any played
Just finished it, nicely done. I like the sneaky guys coming in from the left
I had to put a few of those dudes in there - adds to the fun ! Spawn boxes behind you that trip as you pass a trigger point.
Liner with the love for P.O.V lol
Does this sync with the Win 8 version?
As far as I know it does - I didn't put the Win8 version on today to check though!
I can make things look really nice, and tell a good story, then I have to have a big learning curve on the coding itself. Hopefully it comes together.
Cool, yeah, I am the same way - trying to get better at "Koding" in Project Spark
Thing is, it is such a feeling of satisfaction when you do nail a piece of code which works really well. Love that feeling.
