A modest dlc for a superb game, if you aren't yet tired of Hunter or Last stand then this is a great addition to the game.
The Insurgency map pack adds 4 new maps to play in the Hunter, Last Stand, or Infiltration game modes of Deniable Ops, as well as a total of 250 GS. The maps are very well done, and seeing as how they aren't just recycled from the Co-op campaign like the other Deniable Ops maps they are a breath of fresh air.
The new maps include Docks set in San Francisco, a Cemetary in New Orleans, a Jail in Portland, and a Medical facility in Salt lake City. Each of these maps offer an interesting setting never seen before in Conviction, and the enviornments offer entertaining ways to hunt down your enemies. Personally, I found killing enemies in a graveyard to be the most sadistic and fun.
Achievement wise, this is an easy, but also fun DLC. Each map has one achievement for completion in either hunter or infiltration, and each map has it's own unique achievement, all but one of which I found rather fun and interesting, and then there is a final achievement for completing all maps on realistic difficulty (Note: many of the achievements say they must be completed in co-op mode, but I can confirm that they may all be obtained while playing solo). My favorite part of this DLC was that none of the achievements have to be earned in Last Stand, but rather they could all be earned in Hunter which is in my opinion, the better of the two. However, if you do enjoy Last Stand, you will be pleased to know that this DLC actually gives you 12 areas to play it on, each of the 4 Hunter maps provides 3 of their 5 areas for use in Last Stand. Overall, this is an entertaining, easy DLC which will take you, at most, three hours to complete.
Final thoughts: For $10 this DLC is a maybe for those of you who weren't really into the Deniable Ops game modes, but if you enjoy stalking your prey and taking them out one by one, well then, this is a great addition. It's definately a must buy if you can get it when it's a deal of the week. Have fun.

Among the best $10 I've spent on DLC. I get so much re-pay value out of these maps. It's a modest addition, but it breathed new life into the Deniable Ops missions with 4 new levels never touched on in the rest of the game. If you have enjoyed the Deniable Ops modes and are looking for some fresh levels and challenges this is a solid purchase. You can tell just as much (if not more) care went into creating these maps as did the rest of the game.
One note, (in Hunter mode) each DLC map has 12 guys in each wave to start (rather than the traditional 10). That doubles to 24 if you are caught. However, each map only has 3 waves which reduces the total number of guys to 36 guys total over the entire map if you don't get caught as aposed to 40. This means there are 4 less guys to take out making it slightly easier to reach some of the Deniable Ops achievements.
