http://www.falloutnewvegastour.com/

A guy from the UK, who never really got into video games (last prior RPG experience was in the 80's) bought an Xbox and fell in love with Fallout: New Vegas. He decided to take a trip to Vegas and hit every location he deemed important that he could find. A couple didn't really make it on there, but all in all it was pretty fruitful.

This makes me want to go for a trip this summer. I'd like to do DC and compare with Fallout 3 myself!

that was really cool! I had no idea that some of the landmarks in NV were actually real! Thanks for a good read :)

Wow, that is pretty cool, even though I don't have Fallout: New Vegas, that is a very cool idea.

Lol cool. I remember we had to watch a little doco on the Hoover Dam in school and throughout the entire thing I was thinking, heh cool, I saw all this stuff in New Vegas.

Haha, I would do the same thing. Just a couple weeks back, in a Geography class, we watched a video about the blocs of the former USSR. The whole time a friend and I looked at each other and pointed out that it was Bloc from Call of Duty 4 Multiplayer. Can't help it!

I'm hoping someone will continue this adventure and go to Mount Zion and do a trip for Honest Hearts. That would be interesting.

I was really into Fallout 3 when I took my class trip to D.C. It was weird because I was recognizing some of the streets even though they were covered in rubble in the game.

It came out a few months later in my freshman year.
Mortis Invictus - Just got the urge to play Gladius again. That's definitely one game I wish had been re-released on the 360.

This is awesome. I remember playing Fallout 3—and The Pitt, specifically—and wondering how similar the layout of the in-game city was to real life.

Funny thing is that I now live in Pittsburgh. The main landmarks I remember from that dreary DLC—the 10th Street Bridge and the Cathedral of Learning—are all here and are all pretty faithfully recreated (minus the dreariness. This is actually an awesome city in real life).
