Double XP with an added bonus
It should come as no surprise that following the release of The Retaliation Map Pack last week, http://www.trueachievements.com/Crysis2-xbox-360.htm developer Crytek will be running a double XP weekend.
The events starts Thursday, 26th May at 9am (PST) and will run through to Monday, 30th May at 12am (PST).
There is an added incentive to play as well, Crytek will be monitoring stats over the weekend and will be awarding prizes to highest XP earners.
We'll be monitoring the stats over the weekend and will be offering prizes to the best XP earners on each platform. It doesn't matter how much XP you've got now, it's all about how much you can earn during the double-XP weekend, so anyone can join in and show 'em who's boss!
Prizes include:
Crysis 2 Figurine
Crysis 2 Nanosuit T-Shirt
Crysis Legion Novel
Crysis Lanyard
Crysis DogTag
MyCrysis Sticker/BadgesGreat news for those of us still looking to earn the Crysis, What Crysis? achievement.

I hope they set a flag cap limit or something so an actual player wins. I'm sure the reward will be more geared towards fans anyway.
