| Hey I tried playing COD4 on the epilogue level (MIle High Club) and it kept saying disc unreadable. When I took my dis out to see what the hell was wrong, there was a big circular mark going all the way around my cd. Why the hell did that happen? |

| This has happened to me on my halo 3 and cod 5 disc the circular ring is from you maybe hitting your xbox or nudging thus throwing the disk off the track and usually makes a like grinding sound and doesnt work on what you scratched when playing and it will start to do it on other spots to |

It happened when I first got my 360 and found it out the hard way luckily the disc I had was a rental, so I just told them that it wouldnt play and returned the rental for another one. |

Unfortuanitly it sounds like you have a laser burn, if you havent already replaced your disc you can do the following...
1) Go to gamestop and buy a used copy of COD4.
2) Try it out at home and make sure it works.
3) Return your old game to a different gamestop and just ask for your money back or pick up another title. Just say your angry and you just want your cash back. In accordance with their return policy they will give you a refund unless you are doing this all the time. |
