Hurry up and get it
On May 31st, L.A. Noire's Rockstar Pass went live for a discounted price of 800MSP. The discount was only suppose to last until June 14th.
Today, Rockstar had the following to say:
Although it was originally set to expire this week, today we're happy to announce that we've extended the limited-time discounted price for the L.A. Noire Rockstar Pass ($9.99 on PlayStation Network and 800 Microsoft Points on Xbox LIVE) until June 21st, the release date for the "Nicholson Electroplating" Arson case.
The L.A. Noire Rockstar Pass is our new way to pre-order and purchase DLC that gives players access to not only all of the upcoming downloadable content for L.A. Noire, but also all of the content originally offered as pre-order bonuses, including the "A Slip of the Tongue" Traffic case and "The Naked City” Vice case, along with the Badge Pursuit Challenge and more.There you have it. You have only six days left until the pass goes from 800MSP to 960MSP. Click here to download it to your Xbox and begin solving cases. |

| Noob question here, does purchasing this pass mean that you get all of the DLC for free or do you still have to purchase that? |

| I'd get it but frankly I'm sick of DLC, I can't wait till TA makes it so DLC isn't counted as part of a game unless you want it to. |

| If you got both preorder DLCs, as I did, this is not necessary. Both future DLCs are going to cost 320 points each. |

| I bought this pass on day one, even though I don't own the game yet. I just wish I could play the game already. When I got the game, I tried to install the discs and on every disc it aborted at around 40-50% with a disc read error. Seemed to be some kind of fluid damage by the look of the bottom side of disc #3. So, I returned it as I expect the game to crash when it reaches the damaged sectors of the discs. Now, I just have to wait for my replacement to arrive. :\ |

I would assume it works like 99.9% of the DLC (because that's how I only have to buy DLC once for my multiple consoles), but unfortunately I no longer have possession of the game to check with a different tag.
Can anyone help? |

Can anyone help?Unfortunately I do not know how to quote, but when you buy something there are two licences I read; one for yourself (so you can download and play on the DLC on any xbox) and one for the xbox so anyone can play the download on that Xbox.
That is at least how it works for arcade games....

Cool idea. But not really bothered to pick this up when it's a whopping $2 savings. If I get the game down the line, I'll be happy to pay that $2 with the money I saved from not buying it now  |

EDIT: Figures out how to quote :)Right, that's what I was saying but some of the newer DLCs (like the EA Sports Pass) are tied DIRECTLY to your tag itself (via email address through a third party registration, e.g. EA.com) and thus NOT playable by anyone else on the console. That's what Mr. Jayour is wondering. |
