What else were you expecting
Yesterday, Crytek announced the release of the "Decimation Pack" for Crysis 2, adding five new maps and two new weapons to the game's multiplayer.
Today, they have also revealed that a double XP weekend will be heading our way, starting this Friday, 17th June at 12pm (BST).
Starting this Friday, 17th June at 12pm (BST) and running up until Monday, 20th at 11am (BST), Crysis 2 will be dishing out ANOTHER double-XP for both the Xbox 360 and PC platforms! The PS3 platform will also get their double-XP weekend shortly after, when the PS3 patch becomes available. There's no restrictions on game modes or maps, so grab your friends and earn some new gadgets and guns... and lots of XP, of course!So grab your Nanosuit and get ready for the game's second double XP weekend in as many months. |

| It seems so long ago that I got the achievement for getting level 50. I'm glad I don't have to worry about these XP weekends, though I'm mainly releaved I don't have to worry about it in Gears 2. |

| yep CTR boosting was patched. Play crash site or CTR legit for not too bad points if you're a decent player |

Even with the last double-XP weekend, I couldn't bring myself to play this game's multiplayer. It's boring beyond belief.
Maybe finding some gaming sessions for this weekend might make it tolerable. |

You don't need the map packs to be eligable for the double XP do you?

| Ah, I looked it up. BST is British Summer Time. See, here in the states we only change one letter of the acronym for daylight savings time. EST changes to EDT. Going from GMT to BST is 33% more confusing. So Arashi, 12 BST is 7 AM EDT. |

I have a pretty bad internet connection where I am at. Is there a offline style mode ala Horde in Gears 2 where I am able to make use of this double xp?
Basically I can connect to XBL but playing with others is out of the question. |
