The Machine Age Has Begun...
Sega has released a story trailer for new squad-based shooter title, Binary Domain, which was announced last December.

The first story trailer follows the gameplay trailer which was released towards the end of April. A couple of the screenshots featured in the April article are actually evident in the latest video.
For the benefit of anyone who cannot view the trailers (and everyone else for that matter), the game's official site provides a summary of exactly what Binary Domain is about. The overview is quoted below:
...Binary Domain puts players in the middle of a fast paced and intense battle for humanity in a robot-invaded 2080 Tokyo. Fighting through the derelict lower levels of the city, players control an international peace-keeping squad that soon starts to question their surroundings and the choices they make. Are the robots becoming more human, or are humans becoming more like machines?Last week's E3 event brought the news that Binary Domain will be a Kinect-enabled title. Hence, assuming you have the required peripheral, you'll be able to get even more hands-on with the futuristic action.
Binary Domain, the brainchild of Toshihiro Nagoshi, creator of the notable Yazuka series, remains scheduled for release in early 2012.

| I know I said this back when it was announced, but, knowing this is from the creator of the Yakuza series makes it almost a sure-bet already. This is something, along with Demons Souls, I'm so glad to see moving away from PS3-exclusive territory. I'm also glad it's not coming until next year, as there's way too many games to try and play before then. |

This looks sweet. Haven't seen much on this until now, but I like what I see already. I'll jump on the looks like iRobot bandwagon. Hopefully robots aren't the next zombies where they are over used.  |
