Puzzler due out later this year
PopCap Games announced today that Bejeweled 3 will be headed to Xbox Live Arcade.
Bejeweled 3 "raised the standard for match-3 games to new heights", according to PopCap studio head, Ed Allard. Though they didn't announce many details, it will likely come with the modes featured in the PC version of the game. These modes are the Classic Mode, which features the match-3 play we've grown so accustomed to; a Lightning Mode which features play in the style of Bejeweled Blitz LIVE, a Zen Mode which lets you tailor the game's sounds to create a relaxing gaming environment, and a Quest Mode which contains 40 levels featuring a variety of different challenges.
The game is currently scheduled for release in Q4 2011. No pricing information was revealed, though the PC version usually retails for $20.

| The Achievements are going to be ridiculous - again. Blitz LIVE had a good list, so hopefully they've learned from that. 280 levels of Endless Mode on Bejeweled 2 was a joke. |

Either way, I'll wind up getting this. Already played the game to death on PC, but the achievements definitely tip me toward purchasing. ;) |
