I'm scepticle after hearing it's someone else working on the game. Is it a whole new team?
I loved the first game though. Completed it twice. Only got the two hard achievements to get when I play through it my third and final time some day. |

In response to the Bioshock movie questions: As of early 2008 they were definitely making it, with Gore Verbinski (of Pirates of the Caribbean fame) signed on to direct. I vaguely recall reading somewhere that it was going to be very green-screen heavy (think of the movie '300'), which seems to make sense given the setting.

As for Bioshock 2 news: The original was developed by 2K Boston/2k Australia. The sequel is to be developed by 2K Marin, with 2K Boston not involved in the development at all. Activision, the game's publisher, expects it to release prior to Christmas 2009. With regards to plot, a developer said that the game "is part of a prequel and at the same time is a sequel," which is maddeningly unclear.

I noticed that nobody has mentioned the article in the March issue of GI has anybody seen that? It has a fairly decent amount of info there.
It says you play the game as the first Big Daddy ever (prototype). The issue # is 192 for all those curious. |
Cause that's how I do it. |

| My hopes are that it is as good or better than the first. I was surprised to see that we play as a big daddy since the teasers made it look like we were playing as the detective that is investigating the Big Sister's kidnap victims. Also really hoping the original big daddy isn't as clunky as the big daddies in the first Bioshock. |
