Bugs go splat...
As title updates go, this ranks as a very minor tweak. However, we all like to know what's being applied to the game behind the scenes, mostly because we're nosey.
This update (the eleventh applied to the title so far), addresses a number of 'unidentified security' issues, and audio tweaks. The audio alterations are specifically aimed at fixing the problem when planting/defusing a bomb in Search and Destroy.
The update will, as ever, be detected when you next fire up Call of Duty: Black Ops and clocks in at a tiny 14MB. |

I must have about 5/6 updates to download next time I play Black Ops!
Still, it's good to know that they are still improving this game for the community, and not just ignoring it. Although this sort of support would be nice for World at War and Modern Warfare 2, both of which seem to have an awful lot of hackers in them. |
Multiplayer progress in GTA IV reset. Slightly annoyed. $516,207 out of $5,000,000. |

| I've got an idea for the people over at Activision, Treyarch, and Infinity Ward. Stop trying to release a sub-standard product once a year, and take your time to put out a good product. This series used to deserve its reputation as one of the great FPS titles, but now it's become a joke. I've never played any game this glitchy or hacked and it seems to me that the numerous updates represent the poor attention to detail by the game developers because they are too focused on a deadline. Sorry CoD, but there are too many other solid first person shooters out there for me to continue to put up with what has become a mediocre game with an unfortunately loyal fanbase. Too bad everyone else puts up with it, or else somebody might realize they actually have to start listening to the criticisms instead of giving us all the collective finger and ignoring us while they work on the next game. |

When the game released Treyarch said they would be supporting the game consistantly.
Now all i hear are complaints about the number of updates. All they have done it try to make the game better, when an issue came up they addressed it. Continuing to make the game better.
(in no way am i saying it's a good/great game)
But hey are supporting it. Which is an awesome thing. |

When was the last time any of you guys saw the perfect game? Or played a game you wanted a patch for, but the developers didn't do it. Stop your fucking whining and troll elsewhere. |

I love how the bad hit detection, lag, and my personal most hated glitch that lets Second Chance users continue to shoot their Primary gun while falling have yet to be addressed.
I mean, I guess they are trying, but they've put out three map packs before addressing some serious game issues. |
