Pushed back by blockbuster titles?
If you were looking forward to taking on the role of Estacado again, I'm afraid you'll have to set your sights firmly on 2012; February 7th (US) and February 10th internationally to be precise.
Whilst no official reason was offered, it's likely, nay certain, that this was facilitated by some big name releases, namely Gears of War 3 and Battlefield 3, expected in September and October 2011 respectively, the original release slot for The Darkness II.

| I'm not too fussed since I'll be busy playing Batman, Battlefield and Halo. Besides, I'm yet to finish the original. So, the more time the better for me. |

| I'm gutted it's been delayed. But at the same time, my wallet is doing backflips in joy. Seriously, this year is ridiculous for the amount of games I want to get. Already Skyrim, Forza 4, Space Marine, Halo: CE Anniversary and Battlefield 3 are taking my money, then theres Batman, Tropico 4, Saints Row, WWE 12..... |

Didn't really like the first, was uninteresting.
But smart move, i wouldn't like to compete with the likes of Gears 3, Skyrim and the Future GOTY, Batman: Arkham City ;D |

| Aww I was actually looking forward to this. I tend to play the smaller underdog titles more. But October does have Rage, Forza, Dead Rising, Batman and Battlefield coming out back to back each week, I'd be afraid of my game getting lost and overlooked by these bigger name games also hehe |

I am interested in this and the delay is great and smart news for them business wise.
Too many AAA's coming, there are nearly 3 a month until December
I'm still sad Starbreeze aren't developing it though, they are awesome. |
