Same price as the standard edition at select retailers
Namco Bandai has announced the exclusive DLC details for the Limited Edition of their upcoming dog-fighting flight-sim Ace Combat Assault Horizon. Although the European Limited Edition had been mentioned previously by the developer, it is only now that we can confirm the full contents of the package, which can be pre-ordered at select retailers for the same price as the standard edition.
The Limited Edition has only been confirmed for Europe, Japan and Australia / New Zealand. It is yet to be confirmed for North America, and no retailers are advertising the Limited Edition in this region.
The game will be packaged in a folding box that contains a CD of the original game soundtrack, a notebook signed by the development team at Project Aces, and a card to download the exclusive DLC aircraft, as well as the game disc too.

The DLC aircraft varies depending on region. Europe and Japan will be getting the F-4E Phantom II as the exclusive plane, which can be seen in action in the trailer below:

| At least it's the same price as the original seeing as how it doesn't come with much to warrant a higher price. Maybe that's just me though |

Not a bad special edition at all, shame it isn't coming to NA for the foreseeable future for the Ace Combat fans over here, but I'm happy for the places that do get it.
This one is looking to be the best yet! |

| I've been playing a bit of Ace Combat, wish the disc hadn't stopped reading because the franchise is quality. Too bad we don't appear to be getting any sort of limited edition, but enjoy to the ones that do. |

| I would say this is cool, but I don't like the idea of having to download the game. I prefer having a disc. They should have put the sound track as a code and the game on the disc, instead of the other way around. Just my opinion. |

It is a little confusing. Doesnt make sense though having a code instead of a disc so I guess its on disc. |

I've altered it now to make it clearer. |

| Hold on a second. ONE cd for the OST? As far as I remember the last three games had soundtracks spanning 3 to 4 disks! |

| Soundtracks are good, but the DLC plane doesn't look that great. |
