Gameplay refinements abound in a new iteration of MvC3
Fighting game fans have been wondering about the future of Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds since Capcom's radio silence after the release of DLC characters Jill and Shuma. Capcom promised us answers during Comic-Con and they've finally arrived in the form of Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3.
Along with the inclusion of 12 new characters and eight new stages, Capcom promises rebalanced gameplay and, finally, spectator mode!

The game will include Strider Hiryu, Firebrand of Ghosts 'n Goblins fame, Ghost Rider and Hawkeye along with eight other characters and plenty of cameos.

Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 will release for $39.99 in the US, with no word on an exact price in other territories as of yet. The game is slated for release sometime this November.

I personally think that, while I know many people are turned off by this style of re-release, 40 bucks for 12 characters and 8 stages is a really good value. Think about what that would cost as DLC! And it is going to be a full retail release, not a DLC-style add-on.
I'm super excited for it. I think I spied Hawkeye doing an in-air X-Factor O_o |

| Well then, glad I got the first one off a friend for 20 bucks. But I may pass on this. Not in the mood to do ridiculous stuff like all those missions again. I'll wait for an achievement list first. |

It contains DLC that anyone can download for the regular version (though in this case that's only a guess it will be available, and would be at release of this version) and is compatible with the regular version of the game, just comes with DLC. It's kinda like Dragon Age Origins Ultimate Edition, or Battlefield Bad Company 2 Ultimate Edition, for those of you that have one of those. |

Think about it. 12 new characters, 8 new stages, a spectator mode, and refined fighting.
Also, since this is an achievement website, A NEW LIST OF THEM.
All for a bargain price of 40 bucks? You can't honestly beat that.
Capcom *does* release a ton of re-releases and re-hashes it seems these days, but most of them are pretty good value when compared to market price AND they all have new achievement lists for the uber fans!
Win win situation. |

The average cost for a dlc character in a fighting game is $5. This has 12 characters, that would be $60. This will not be DLC. |

| I'll wait 4 an achievement list but the re-release stuff isn't cool when the game has barely been out for a year I mean geez. Hopefully it's dlc and not like sf4 where it was so much "new" stuff you had to buy super sf4. |
