really what makes the achievements so difficult or hard to get? Is it more of an investment of skill, time, luck or what?

I'd say its about all 3, they range from easy to very hard. I''d be able to tell you more but I lent the game to my uncle a year ago and haven't gotten it back =/

But overrall its a really fun game I enjoyed the campaign and being able to use the same squads in many battles until they die. Xbox Live is fun if you can find a match but for skirmish action you can always do 1v1, 2v2, 3v3, and 4v4 against the computer.

The games difficulty is hard if you do it on hardcore, I played it on the easiest difficulty and some of the later battles were still really tough. I'd suggest playing on the easiest one because the hardest difficulty on skirmish is like a 2 second fight if your not skilled at the game.

Its a very fun game and would reccomend to everybody even if you haven't played RTS's before.

Account Settings

Xbox live settings will need to be set up in the following way to allow TrueAchievements to scan your gamertag.

1. Log into https://live.xbox.com

2. Click on My Account in the top toolbar.

3. Scroll down to Settings and Preferences on the right hand side. Click on Privacy and Online Settings.

4. Scroll down to Privacy. You need to make sure that Profile Sharing and Game History is set to Everyone otherwise you will not be scanned.

These simple steps will allow TrueAchievements to scan your profile and update your achievements.
