Red Dead Redemption gets more content in September
A special, complimentary DLC pack will be coming to Red Dead Redemption in September as a way to show thank-you to the community for the support of the multiplayer component of the game.

Today we can confirm the title for you: the Myths and Mavericks Bonus Pack will feature new fan-favorite multiplayer characters by popular demand (including a certain grizzled ol' gunslinger as pictured above) as well as new multiplayer locations for players of Deathmatch, Grab the Bag, Gang matches and other popular online modes to get busy in. It was also mentioned that the cries for the return of original settings to "Undead Overrun" have been heard, and a title update prior to the new DLC release will address those issues.
The "Myths & Mavericks" DLC pack is scheduled for release on Xbox Live in September. At this time, it is unknown if this DLC pack will contain achievements.

I literally suggested this story ten minutes ago. Might get back into playing RDR again in September. So glad Undead Overrun is reverting to its original settings. Sudden Death? More like Instant Death.

Achievements are nothing, we get it. But thats not gonna make us stop getting them. |

I have long since completed RDR and its DLC's, so can someone tell me what exactly the change will be with the Undead Overrun. The RDR facebook says this:
Oh, also, yes – for those who are asking about a return to the original Undead Overrun multiplayer mode settings – we are planning to release a title update in the lead up to the new free DLC pack which will address that.What were the original settings and what are they now? |

Can't remember where I read it, but I was researching this about a week ago, I read that Rockstar wanted to expand multiplayer and include popular characters that were not available for play in multiplayer, like the old cowboy in the above picture, I forget his name.
Hope it's available before Gears 3! |

Considering the game has a total of 95 achievements.. i guess theres still a possibility for another 4 right?

You know those EVIL spitter things that kill you in one hit, well, before the title update, they didn't. Should be a bit more forgiving then. |

| Looking forward to this! Never complain about free DLC, regardless of whether or not in contains achievements. It would be nice if it did, and I'm hanging onto my copy for now, just in case. |
