Strange things are afoot...
Over the last two days, Warner Brothers and Rocksteady have released three audiofiles featuring inmates and villains from their upcoming Batman game, Batman: Arkham City.
The audiofiles are very similar to those that the player would collect in Batman: Arkham Asylum and all three feature one common denominator. The latest audiofile features a conversation between Professor Hugo Strange and The Joker.

The second clip to be released was another similar conversation, this time between Dr. Strange and The Riddler. The cameo with the Mayor also gives a little insight as to the methods used by Professor Strange.

The original audiofile featured Professor Strange conversing with The Penguin.

From the three files released so far, we can gather that Strange seems to be making a deal with the criminals residing in Arkham City. There isn't enough detail to ascertain what he's up too, but I'm sure we can safely say it won't bode well for Batman.
Batman: Arkham City is scheduled for release on October 18th in North America, October 19th in Australia and October 21st in Europe. |

The story in this game is going to be top notch.

| I enjoyed the audiofiles in Arkham Asylum so I'm hoping there will be a lot of them in Arkham City. They give good depth to the characters. As I've said before, I cannot wait to play this game. |

| This may be the top singleplayer campaign of the year in my opinion, as much as I want to say that would be Gears 3 this is just looking too good. They really have been doing great with these videos as well, succeeding at keeping the hype up! |

I thought I recognised the voice actor for Hugo Strange - it's Corey Burton, who plays Count Dooku in The Clone Wars TV Series. And for that matter, the major appears to be played by Tom Kane (Yoda and Admiral Yularan in the Clone Wars). And obviously there's Mark Hamill as the Joker.
Just a bit of extra information that probably won't interest anyone unless they're a Star Wars fan. |
