Frank didn't spend those years covering wars
Frank West has led quite the eventful life. As a freelance photojournalist he has not only covered wars (you know), but he was also largely responsible for revealing the truth behind the Willamette, Colorado zombie outbreak. From that he gained a lot of fame and fortune. In the alternate storyline of Dead Rising 2: Off the Record we see Frank back in the middle of a zombie takeover, this time in Fortune City. The situation he's in is one in need of answers. How did Frank go from a national hero to finding himself slicing and dicing at zombie limbs again?
This new trailer aims to explain what Frank did in those years in between Willamette and Fortune City. It shows the highs and lows of his time in the spotlight and tries to explain what would lead a man, who had already seen the bloody horrors of one zombie outbreak, to venture to a second one.

While many gamers are fed up with Capcom's endless re-releases of their games, this version is clearly fan service and has so far been met with eager anticipation from many of those fans.
Off the Record will be available at a lower price and offers features like new missions, new weapons, new environments, and better load times, among other things.
Chomp down on over-sized baguettes once more this fall when Dead Rising 2: Off the Record hits stores on October 11th in North America and October 14th across Europe. |

| I am absolutely psyched about this one. While it could have been DLC, it probably would be the kind DLC that would be in the $30 range (Dragon Age: Awakening ETC.), and I'd rather pay the extra 10 bucks for a full achievement list. and since it's disc based, you can wait a year or so and get it for 10 bucks or so.(Though I don't see used copies of Dead Rising 2 around very often).Plus, its Frank! |

"I've covered wars you know!" is perfectly valid as a response to whether Frank can use a firearm or not. That line is annoyingly overused.
Fan service would be if they let the Japanese team responsible for development of the original have a crack at Fortune City instead of these Canadian pretenders.
Whilst I will eventually play this I think I'll let it drop in price. Even without pricing information I already know that us gamers in the UK will get stiffed on their interpretation of a budget release over here. £29.99 anyone? That is not comparable to $39.99. |

its the same old capcom. look at street fighter 4, 3 different editions, Marvel vs capcom 3, 2 different edtions and now DR2 with 2 diffent edtions res evil 5 2 diffent edtions Lost planet had 2 differen editons. this is just games on the 360, if you look over and consol and you will see the same thing happening.
will it be a good game yes, will you have the feeling of dajvu again yes, will i be buying this game day one No. I have had enough of Capcom to last me some time |

And lets ignore Capcom saying they did that so they could step away from any connection with Japan. Capcom wanted someone else to do it and it payed off. Quit whining and go play DR2 |

| To be entirely honest, I never really liked Frank West. I honestly don't understand why people like him so much. Nor the things he says. But whatever. All I know is I like Dead Rising, but that I'll only be buying this when I find it for $20. If it doesn't happen, no biggie. |
