Capture the Flag in HD style
If the previous trailer from 343 Studios' upcoming Halo remake has simply left you longing for more, then you're in luck, as today sees the release of another pair of videos and a few screens from Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary.

| Every time I see this game I'm a bit less impressed. Maybe it's because I originally played it on PC where resolutions were higher and textures more detailed in the first place, but it also feels like development's a bit rushed. |

| Strangely enough, I'm not thrilled about this game. The multiplayer just looks like another Reach map pack, and the campaign won't be anything exciting, since I've played the first game. |

Although all of your comments are ever so witty...
You'll find that as previously mentioned the multiplayer "is" Reach.
Similar to what they did with ODST.
(A new campaign but the same Halo 3 multiplayer.)
Similarly, they plan to release the maps included in the Halo 1 remake as Reach map packs.
(Exactly what they did with the Mythic Map Pack, included it with ODST and then released it after for all those who didn't want to buy ODST.)
I think this is a great idea, and I'm glad I don't have to start yet another whole new ranking system for another Halo game.
But each to their own. |
