THQ releases extended video of pre-alpha code gameplay
THQ have released a video of gameplay from their upcoming title, Metro: Last Light.
The footage is from pre-alpha code, and some parts may look vaguely familiar as they were released post E3. However, running at almost 13 minutes in length, this latest video expands significantly on the previously released clips which only have combined length of seven minutes.
The new footage features non-stop action and gives an indication of some of the intense firefights and sequences that the player can expect to encounter during the game, along with the ultimate price for failure in one particular case.

Metro: Last Light is currently under development by THQ and is scheduled for release sometime in 2012. |

| Metro 2033 mad me so sick I returned it after I couldn't replace the damaged gas mask, even with a brand new one on a shelf ready for me to pick up. I couldn't even take the thing off. I had to play 1/3rd of the game looking through broken/scratched glass....major suckage! |

| This game earned a sequel, the lack of ammo and keeping up with my air supply kept me on my toes. Great game. |
Achievements are nothing, we get it. But thats not gonna make us stop getting them. |

| Does the fact that this is PRE-ALPHA make anyone else wet their trousers? Because this looks incredible. I love that there's no HUD in this video - let's hope the game stays that way. |

LOL not every game is going to have basic COD or Halo controls IDIOT go get good BK it takes a total of 5 mins to get through most of the clearly labeled turtorials (fyi cant spell that word for the life of me.) So unless you can't read which I would hope you can considering your posting stupid comments on a game that is awesome then you should have no problem with the next game. |

| Did Metro 2033 do that good to get a sequel? I rented it from Gamefly because I wasn't sure I would like it, and this game lasted all of 3 hrs in my XBox before I stuck it back in the envelope to return. My wallet thanked me for renting it before I bought it for $59.99, because I feel it would have been a huge waste of $59.99. There must be someone who loved the game enough to want a sequel. I really didn't think there were enough of them though. Color me wrong this time... |

First game was boring, second game most likely will be too.wrong and wrong. if you found the first game boring, then you didn't even know what you bought/rented in first place.
how about a bit of research before buying games, huh? stick to COD/BF/HALO and never ever try anything besides that... coz you know... it's boring.
in any case... if you didn't like the first game, why the hell do you read an article about the second game and even more confusing is: why the hell do you bore us with your lame post, if you didn't like the first game, don't read or reply to posts about the second one.

Maybe this is a rare exception (I doubt it) but MOST are scrawny A-holes that would cry if confronted in real life. Anonymity makes the internet sadly so it will never change,
As for the original post quoted, he clearly states he knew that he was supposed to be able to replace the mask and remove the mask but the game wouldn't let him. It glitched on him just as it glitched on me. Please read the posts and understand where they are coming from before you pull out your troll stick. It is a common problem in the game for a lot of people. Just because yours worked doesn't make it universally so.
OT: This sequel does look very good. I need to get a new copy of Metro 2033 and try again to see if I can get one without glitches. I would very much like to beat it before this one comes out since a good portion of the community seems to regard it so highly. |
