Remember this classic challenge?
Fans of the first Driver may remember the very frustrating garage mission where the player had to perform a number of stunts in a short period of time to even begin playing the game. It was an example of a gaming moment that gains notoriety because of its difficulty.
The new Driver: San Francisco will also include an updated version of the classic garage challenge and Ubisoft released a new trailer to pump up long-time fans of the series.

Driver: San Francisco releases across Europe tomorrow, September 2nd, and on September 6th in North America.

This was the ultimate test on the PS1 back then. To myself, anyway.
I remember sitting for hours trying to get every stunt done in time, trying different techniques first hoping that I could string many together in a short space of time.
I took so long before even getting to play the game and it makes me wonder how much difficulty the "new" generation of gamers, weaned on Beginner modes, "Fail 5 times to skip" and the generally easier opposition in games would have and how they would cope.

haha, I never managed this in the original and therefore never got to play the game! (Except free-roam)
(Un)fortunately, I've tried the demo of this and didn't like it so this challenge won't be haunting me again! |

Took me a solid half an hour to get that damn challenge done. Ah, fond memories *wipes away a tear*
Get the Email from Ubi yesterday saying that my promo copy was on the way, so hopefully I'll get playing tomorrow! Which is good timing as I've just finished up Deus Ex and started on The Baconing :D |

Game buyed on Tuesday in Stores, this Challenge is unlockable through uPlay
It was back then very hard to get through on PC with using Keyboard. I did it later after finishing the game (you could erease missions out of the File and start the game without doing that prologe). Nowday's it's a peace of cake. |

| this was very hard back in the day. i used the deleted file method too :p the game was so good. controls in the new one are kinda meh but i see it being fun. could be a good rental. |
