Location, location, location!
Activision has followed up on July's duo of screenshots with some mouthwatering images, showcasing the various locations which will take centre stage in this year's addition to the blockbuster Call of Duty franchise, Modern Warfare 3.
The following concept art features jungle, shanty town, cityscape and narrow street environments.

| This game will be more enjoyable than Battlefield. Thought I'd give the opposite opinion to the next 90% of posts by BF fanboys who are needlessly stirring up trouble in a thread where they don't need to be. |

Halo Wars, Rainbow Six Vegas, Assassins Creed , Battlefield Bad Company!!

I don't know why, but MW3 just isn't exciting me at all.
CoD 4 was one of the first games I played on the 360, and I have pre-ordered each of the releases since then and been really excited about all of them, but with AC: Revelations coming out a week later, I'm seriously thinking of waiting until Xmas and asking for it off my girlfriend. |

Too many top titles coming out this year to waste money on another generic CoD/Battlefield game, pass on both accounts for me!
As for screen looks much the same as what we've been seeing since CoD4.
Edit - The guy above you may not like CoD that's fine but to suggest Boredomlands is an outrage, its a generic FPS with some stats added in the hide the lack of depth. The story is basically none existent as well. No one plays double agent anymore, Bad Company requires about as much skill as CoD they are both camping games, and Assassin Creed though I enjoy requires no skill at all. |

Anyway, MW3, don't know if I will get it, doesn't look very improved upon, I am excited about BF3, but both series are different. I loved CoD 4, and it went a bit downhill from there, but not terribly as I still play the series and am good at it even though I don't like it as much. But it would be nice to see big improvements, unfortunately IW is mostly gone. MW3's deal breaker for me might be the C4 dogs, that is really messed up...
Dogs in the military are used for many different things, but strapping C4 to them has never been one. Just keep the RC Car then! Dogs in the military will have bullet proof vests, cameras, audio equipment (so a unit can command the dog), are used for searching and assaulting, and many other things. Ways that are not disgusting in nature to a dog. |

I'm curious as to whether or not that 2nd screen has anything to do with the actual gameplay. Was that just thrown in there for the "AWWWWE" factor?
Just like all of the other CODs, I'll buy it for the SP and mess around a little with MP. Too many good games coming out. Skyrim is going to eat up a lot of my free time so it might be 2012 before I even check this out. |
