Will include all DLC packs, all pre-order bonuses, new hideout and Hardcore difficulty
With all the critical acclaim and abundance of DLC, many fans of Rockstar's Red Dead Redemption have been clamoring for or at least predicting a Game of the Year Edition to be released. Well, nearly a year and a half after its original release, Red Dead Redemption is getting just that this October in North America (no details for an international release yet). Rockstar Games has detailed on their website everything to be included in this ultimate retail package:
The original full Red Dead Redemption game - winner of over 160 Game of the Year honors - with a brand-new Hardcore single-player difficulty option.
Undead Nightmare: The one-of-a-kind experience that pits John Marston against a sinister zombie outbreak, along with its Undead Overrun survival-based Multiplayer Mode.
The Legends and Killers Multiplayer Pack: Adds to the Red Dead multiplayer experience with nine additional active Competitive mode map locations tailored for multiplayer action, 8 playable characters from Red Dead Revolver, the devastating Tomahawk weapon and more.
The Liars and Cheats Multiplayer Pack: Massively expands Free Roam multiplayer with Multiplayer Poker, Liar's Dice, Horse Racing with Combat and a slew of additional Gang Hideouts and Hunting Grounds. Plus it adds the action-packed Stronghold mode to Competitive Multiplayer.
The Outlaws to the End Co-Op Mission Pack: Six explosive and epic Cooperative Multiplayer missions to play with 2-4 players.
All the original pre-release pre-order content, including the Deadly Assassin Outfit, War Horse, and Golden Guns Weapon Pack plus the Hunting and Trading Outfits Pack featuring two additional outfits with corresponding gameplay challenges.
The Solomon’s Folly single player gang hideout and challenges (available for the first time on Xbox 360).
The just released Myths and Mavericks Bonus Pack that features new fan-favorite multiplayer characters and all-new multiplayer locations to battle in.So you get every DLC released, including pre-order bonuses, as well as an all-new Hardcore difficulty and the once exclusive Solomon's Folly, in additon to 1500 GS all in once place.
If you haven't traversed this expansive wild west world or were waiting to saddle up again when one definitive collection released, you can drive your horseless carriage to your local retailer and pick up the Red Dead Redemption: Game of the Year Edition when it releases October 11th.

| Called it! Good news for that, and for me. I'll probably wind up getting it start of 2012, hopefully when it gets a small deal and these new games coming up are done. |

| Something tells me, with this new hardcore mode, there might be a slight chance at there being a new achievement list. Would complete again. |
I miss the good old days of WW2 Call of Duty |

| Love the hardcore difficulty. I've tried play with all the settings on the hardest to make it a bit more fun, but having a mode just for that would be better. I'll probably my RDR and Undead Collection discs to knock some of the price off, and pay a small amount to get this version -- depends on the price. |

| Any word on whether that solomon's folly or hardcore mode will be made available to those who already own the game? Love the game but kinda feel screwed now for buying it 1st day as I could have gotten all this now. |

If not, I wouldn't see them pricing above 160msp. |

How could there be a new list?! The achievements for this game have obviously been done with for a while. Not sure what a list being done has to do with having a stackable version. Batman Arkham Asylum's list was done, and that stacked into the GOTY version for the 360 AND the PC.
I'm kinda iffy on whether there will be a new list. I hope there is, but that would also mean I'm not selling my RDR / UC discs yet until I finish the original, and I would like to get rid of those to pay for this. |

| If the achievements stacked like Arkham I would purchase if not, its not worth repurchasing solely for hardcore mode. |

| I'll probably pick this up now... I had cash flow issues when it first came out. And then when I didn't have cash flow issues, all the DLC had been released so I had to force myself to wait. Usually I would just pick it up and buy all the DLC I wanted. But.. I made the right call this time it looks like. |
"But, I NEED money sir! I am poor, sick, and hungry!" |

| I might get around to finally picking this up. I've never really liked a GTA game since Vice City, but people have praised it for its story so that has got me a little interested. |
