At least four pieces of Catwoman DLC to start
Due to one of those "mistakes", it has been revealed that the upcoming Batman: Arkham City will feature at least four pieces of DLC with Catwoman as the lead character. When I say "those" mistakes, I mean the right hand not talking to the left. Or maybe it was intended all along? Anyway, Gamestop have revealed their official strategy guide for the upcoming action thriller, and the guide's product description states that Rocksteady are planning to release four pieces of DLC featuring the lady in black.
Rocksteady have previously stated that they didn't want to "water" down the Dark Knight's adventure by having Catwoman feature too prominently, so she was restricted to a mere 10% of the adventure. Obviously, they had planned to rectify this situation post release.
Another interesting, albeit vague passage in the product description alludes to a further 12 side missions that will be made available, where a "number of major characters" will be revealed. I personally find that little tidbit very, very interesting indeed!
Of course, this information comes from the product description of the guide, and could be wrong. We can hope though, right?
Batman: Arkham City will reach store shelves October 18th in North America, October 19th in Australia, and October 21st in Europe. |

| Unfortunately, until it's confirmed by Rocksteady then it's a rumour, no matter how probable it is :) |

| I don’t think giving other characters some screen time will water down the franchise at all. All of the characters collectively make up the Batman universe. Without interesting well developed foes, Batman would be a boring freak in latex. Bring on the DLC! |

Haters should go back and play their Spongebob games instead than whine about this topic. DLC fuck yes, when it comes to Arkham City. Catwoman is not strong enough for her own game the same Batman is. But added a story for her in Arkham City is perfect.
Not day 1 buy for me tough, becuase of the cashflow. But will pick it up at the end of the year, or starting of 2012. |

Another thing I noticed from your blog and post is that you think the words “though’’ and “tough’’ have the same meaning. |

Not like this, but it had extra challenge maps you could buy, which were included in the GOTY |

This is no surprise, every game has DLC plans nowadays!
And I know this was more or less "leaked", but I wish companies would wait at least till their game is actually out before announcing DLC plans. It always makes me feel like they're just holding out content for a few extra bucks when they do that sort of thing before the game even comes out. Yes, I understand how the cert process works, but it still gives that perception |
