Four more wrestlers get the treatment
Yet another batch of intro and finisher videos have been released for WWE '12. Goldust is the first of the four wrestlers to be featured today:

This is not the first batch of intro and finisher videos that we have featured. The first batch included Hawk, Animal, Daniel Bryan and Mr. McMahon. The next batch covered Santino Morella, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Triple H, Vladimir Kozlov and The Miz. These were followed by Justin Gabriel, David Otunga, Michael McGillicutty and Heath Slater. Finally, the last batch included Mason Ryan, William Regal, Yoshi Tatsu and Husky Harris.
More intro and finisher videos can also be found on the WWE Games Youtube channel; these include Alex Riley, Wade Barrett, John Cena, Christian, Alberto Del Rio, Kelly Kelly, Layla, Maryse, Rey Mysterio, Natalya, Randy Orton, CM Punk, The Rock (entrance only), R-Truth, Zack Ryder and The Undertaker.
Finally, a trailer has been released demonstrating how, for the first time in the franchise, players can create their own entrance, finisher and storyline for the wrestlers that they create. There is also the option to create your own arena.

While these are minor faults i hope im not the only one who sees them.
Goldust doesn't come out with the Ric Flairish gown on as he has done and his finisher is wrong. From what I can recall its a suplex into a neckbreaker. The move in the video looks like R-Truths
If you watch Michelle McCools finisher, her opponent is about a foot away from her body which stinks of accommodating bigger wrestlers when she does it to them.
Beth Pheonix's one irritated me the most as rather then grabbing the opponents waist as she slams them and seamlessly twisting the down opponent into a pin (watch her finisher on youtube you'll see what I mean) she does something she never done during her career.
Eves is the most accurate of the 4 but again go to youtube and watch her entrance when she does her pose the camera, its not miles away to one side as shown in the video.
These are little gripes as ive enjoyed playing the WWE games for a long time. But come on THQ little things like that shouldnt be messed up.
But as long as the issue with hair going through the bodies of characters is fixed ill be happy.

now that you say it.. i do remember it being suplex into neckbreaker. how did they go wrong with something like that? it seems pretty major. a wrestler's FINISHER. haha |

Goldust seems okay, but why are they wasting space with the Divas? WWE doesn't care about their women's edition enough to let them wrestle for more than 2-3 minutes at MOST, but they do get spotlight in a game?
Call me when (and if) WWE Allstars 2 is announced.
edit: WTF is with the CM Punk entrance? They did a rush job and slapped his new music over his old entrance BUT they have the fans booing him like crazy. WHAT! |

| michelle mccool aint in it no more i never see goldust any more Kozlov is gone husky harris is gone undertaker only appears at wrestlemania dnt see layla anymore god knows what happened to the batista wanna be mason ryan cant remember the last time i saw regal now i know they do it at like the start of the year and u proberly be able to turn some off for ur season but by the time u turn the people off for ur season we gonna end up with a very small roster im gonna wait and see what people say about gameplay before i buy i think |

McCool - "retired" but Undertaker will be returning soon, and since the two of them are dating, she may be making a return as well.
Goldust - injured; had surgery. Will be on the shelf for a while still. He has been doing behind the scenes stuff, including training the Divas, if memory serves.
Kozlov - fired, but left him in the game.
Layla - surgery (broken ankle?); will be returning soon.
Mason Ryan - injured; returning soon.
Regal - on NXT as a commentator. Talk of him getting a World Heavyweight title run before he retires.
I am like you - I will try the demo first and see how it goes... |
