If only you could use the Historia Crux to get there now
If you were a fan of Square Enix's Final Fantasy XIII, then you've looked over the screens and analyzed the trailers that have been released for the upcoming direct sequel, Final Fantasy XIII-2, by now. What you're probably most anxious to see at this point, is when exactly you'll have a chance to play the game.
The Tokyo Game Show brings you the news you've been waiting for, as Square Enix revealed that Final Fantasy XIII-2 will be released on January 31st, 2012 in North America and February 2nd, 2012 in Europe. Too bad there's no Historia Crux around to get you to this date sooner, right? |

| I still need to finish XIII. I got just over halfway through by rushing, but now my team is too weak to get any further (dunno why I did something so stupid, been playing FF forever I should've known that would happen), and I'm not starting all over... I may just have to read the rest of the story online to get ready for this. |

Can't wait for this game, 1000G Final Fantasy XIII so am ready to take this one on.
But February 2nd seems so long away. Need to fill in the next upcoming months with new games to keep me occupied. |

I think we can we agree that the end of 2011 and the beginning of 2012 will be the greatest time ever for RPG fans on Xbox.
My plans for the following month...
- Grinding JRPGs (The Last Remnant, Blue Dragon, Eternal Sonata, Tales of Vesperia) until...
- Dark Souls... more grinding until...
- Two weeks of Battlefield 3...
- Two months and a half of mostly Skyrim
- Two weeks of FFXIII-2
- Three weeks of Kingdoms of Amalur
- Followed by Mass Effect 3
- After all that... complete all of the above!
I'll also try to find some time for games like Batman, Assassin's Creed, Saints Row 3 and MGS HD, but I know that once I get Dark Souls and Skyrim there won't be much time left for anything else.
RPGs are the best!  |

| I really hope this version is a good one, XIII was a letdown for me personally. I found that with each of the last few FF games there have been a handful of excellent changes and then they're set back by other problems. |

RPGs are the best! Take on Eternal Sonata first! It's an easy 1000 (2 play-thrus - no grinding!)
and fun at that...I cry when I think about completing Blue Dragon!
OT: As much as I would rather be seeing vs. XIII or even the hinting of info about the possibility of them maybe considering to make Kingdom Hearts 3...this game will still be at the top of my Gamefly queue at the end of January! |

| I still have to get my copy of FFXIII back from a friend and play it. I probably won't pick this up day one, but it will be on my list to pick up in the near future. |

| As long as this direct sequel is nothing like the last direct sequel than i'm sure this game will be great. Cause Final Fantasy X-2 was a disaster of a game and I wish I never invested the 30 hours that I played of it before putting down the controller and selling the game. I tried to give it a chance and kept hoping it would get better, but it didn't, and that whole Dress Orb System was absolute garbage. |

Still need to finish XIII myself... Got to Chapter 11 back when the game released and haven't touched it since.. Actually got rid of it and bought it new again, so for the last 8 months it's been sitting on my shelf, still wrapped. Not gonna open it now, with Gears 3 out in less than 5 days...
I'm torn between Final Fantasy XIII. Love some aspects, hate others; but I'll definitely give this one a shot too. (Even if I have to have Serah as a playable character.. at least it isn't Vanille...) |
