Aided by creepy music from A Perfect Circle
Fans of first-person shooters know that id Software has had much to do with popularizing the genre, after creating two godfathers of gaming - DOOM and Quake. Their newest monosyllabic, uber-violent shooter, RAGE, is set to be released next month and many fans of id's previous work are already itching to explore the post-disaster world the game is set in.
To tease those eager fans, id Software and publisher, Bethesda, have released a new TV spot that intertwines action-packed gameplay sequences with mentions of the game's credentials and awards.

RAGE releases in North America on October 4th and across Europe on October 7th. |

Perfect choice of music for the game and trailer! The graphics do look amazing and hopefully the consoles will do it justice!

| My doubts about this game after seeing the co-op teaser have been erased. +1 for the Perfect Circle. Would have been +10 if it was Tool though. |

its not "Go Back to Sleep", it's "Counting Bodies like Sheep to the Rhythm of the War Drums" off of their album Emotive. |
