Livery design competition too
WRC 2 is edging closer to release, meaning that there's the inevitable onslaught of new media to keep reminding people of this fact. Although we don't have a new trailer for you, we do have a plethora of new screenshots:

As well as the new screenshots, I'd like to draw your attention to the "Draw 'N' Race" competition that is currently running (pun intended). Players are tasked with designing the livery for a rally car - the blank templates can be downloaded from here. The winning design will feature on Dennis Kuipers' car at the Wales Rally GB from November 10th to 13th, and will also be featured in the next instalment of the game, WRC 3.
As well as seeing their design in the next game, the winner will be able to witness their design at the Wales Rally GB as they will receive a trip for two to the event. Transportation, accommodation and Rally passes are all included. The 30 runners-up will receive power tools from the competition's sponsor FERM Power Tools, as well as a baseball cap. The bad news is that the competition is only open to residents of the UK, Portugal, Sweden, Denmark, Benelux, Spain, Italy and the Czech Republic.
Entries should be e-mailed to info@backbeangames.com. The closing date is at midnight on October 9th, 2011.

| Looks good, buut the original WC was pretty poor. Handling was just awful. |
The word is bought, NOSo, basicalying brought just makes you look like a moron. |

| The 1st game was so awful I stuck with it until Dirt 3 came out, handling physic's are real bad thrown of road by bumps ect, I played the ps2 ones years ago and they handled so much better. Fingers crossed they get this one right! |

I played the demo for the first WRC game and hated the car-handling. If a demo is released for this, I might try it out, but if no improvements have been made, I'll prolly give it a miss.
I wouldn't really compare WRC I to DiRT 3 either, as DiRT 3 should just be called "Gymkhana: The Game". |

Poor graphics.
If they had used a better engine, the game could impress me. |
