I read that if you don't own a keyboard but you do have the ability to play keyboard on your guitar than you can get the keyboard achievements (such as 350 note streak, amount of songs with 5/3 stars etc)

I was wondering if these all stack?
So if I got the "Keys Apprentice" and "Key Streaker" and then sometime in the future play on the keyboard over a friends would both of these achievements stack and unlock at the same time?

Thanks

I believe that they do just that so you can unlock them later when you do have access to a keyboard. The tutorial ones have to be done with the keyboard outright though.

Actually, I'm almost positive you have to have the actual keyboard to get them.

According to the guide writers, you have to have the keyboard to get them.

The tutorial ones are pro keys, so I will need to use a keyboard, I'll pick one up if I find one cheap but I don't plan on it anytime soon, since I would need to pick up some pro-mode drums and a pro-mode guitar as well to get 100%... and I've never seen either of those for sale let alone cheap (England sucks)

Looks like you might be out of luck on the cymbal packs. A post on Harmonix's Rock Band forum, which included an e-mail from MadCatz, said they aren't available for sale in the UK. You could import them but that might be somewhat expensive. And yes, as far as what I've done, the keyboard is required for all of those achievements. I've done the 350 note streak with the guitar as keys and didn't get the achievement.
I'm entitled to my opinion.

But once you do get the keyboard, all of the keys achievements (With the exception of the trainers) are easy.

Just to note guys:

I think he was going to do play with the keyboard but was asking if you complete the pre-requisites beforehand and then play a song with the keyboard at a later date, will they unlock due to the requirements being fulfilled and I believe they do bar the Pro stuff...

I was confused by what he was trying to say Will, but I thought of this in the back of my head.

I don't know. It could work.

That should work. It's apparently possible to achieve the 500 Keys Note Streak using a guitar, but you don't get it until you finish a song using the actual keyboard.
I miss the good old days of WW2 Call of Duty

Will had the answer, I'll be bugging my friend to let me borrow his keyboard eventually haha
And it's a shame about the drums not being here in UK, would explain why I never saw them, then again I doubt they would of sold, a shame indeed

Yes, Will072 is right. Once you unlock the ability to play the Keytar (keyboard parts using the guitar) you can do the requirements for all the non-pro Keyboard achievements on it. However the achievements will not pop until you play/finish a song on an actual keyboard. And it doesn't matter how badly you do on the song with the actual keyboard, just that you pass the song.
