...and three brand-new screenshots!
Three weeks ago, Deus Ex fans figured out the mystery surrounding the likelihood of post-release DLC arriving on the Xbox LIVE Marketplace for Deus Ex: Human Revolution.
The new content, titled "The Missing Link", sees main protagonist Adam Jensen resurface on a freighter ship gradually regaining his crucial augmentations, allowing gamers to continue his journey three days after he mysteriously disappeared.
The following walkthrough video showcases the environments and gameplay which will feature in the upcoming DLC, with added narration by Lead Narrative Designer, Mary DeMarle.

Three new screenshots have also been unveiled to complement the above video:

"The Missing Link" DLC can be found on the Xbox LIVE Marketplace when it is released in October 2011. Unfortunately, price details still remain a mystery!

Just read this article about how they fixed the boss fight in this DLC, you can actually not kill him or kill him without him seeing you, etc. I didn't mind the boss fights in the main game but a lot of people clearly didn't like them, so that's pretty cool news.

| I'm one achievement away from having 100%. Stupid collectibles... Anyway, I'm waiting for the DLC to release, because it'll undoubtedly have achievements, before I go for 100% again. Excellent game, by the way. For those on the fence about getting it, it's definitely worth the money. |

http://www.joystiq.com/2011/09/26/deus-ex-dlc-fixes-boss-fig...The boss fights were ok in the game but the game had so much freedom in the story to play how you wanted, that when it came to the boss fights it was as if the developers forgot about all of this and said there is only 1 way to do this.
It would have been much better if the boss fights had stealth or non lethal options.
All of that said I hate stealth games they are awful. This is an exception though. It was fantastic. If anyone is unsure on if they should get this. GET IT |

For the third boss its possible to kill him with lots of bullets or just a non-lethal punch(latter requiring a little bit of stealth). Its not a lot of variety but it is some.
But I do agree the boss fights were kinda boring |

| The only thing I was disappointed with was how easy the bosses were on the hardest difficulty... All u needed to do was the typhoon |

I'm expecting to take some heat for this, but I thought the boss fights made sense the way they were presented. Think of the boss fight in the body room (to avoid spoilers, if you've gotten to this point you know what I am talking about). You were led into that situation because of the plan of other characters in the game, and it doesn't make sense based on how you got there for there to be multiple options other than defeat this boss. As stealthy as you may want to be, there are just certain points where everything is stacked against you and you have to fight your way out. In my opinion, Deus Ex was story first, stealth second. (I did my best to write that without the possibility of spoilers, so if it doesn't make complete sense, I apologize.)
By the way, this is the Game of the Year right here. |
I miss the good old days of WW2 Call of Duty |

mehgasm...
Seriously, I just don't get why everyone's rraving over this game. It's ok, sure, but nothing special. I'll finish it, but I won't be 100%'ing it, and I'll not be buying the DLC. |

I haven't had the chance to play it yet but I've watched enough gameplay videos to know that I'm going to LOVE every minute of it. I really enjoyed Invisible War on the original Xbox. |

| I did not know you could do that with the guards and the laser gates. Must try that next time I play it. |
Feel free to PM me about the GTA IV walkthrough, or any problems you're having with the game. |
