Add-ons, XBLA games and more
Microsoft has started an Extreme Shopping Sale on Xbox LIVE today, with discounts on Arcade games, DLC add-ons, avatar clothing and a theme. The sale on these items will last until October 4th. In addition to the following list, there will also be some one-day only offers available on Friday. If you're like me, you'll want to stock up on some points!
Here's the full list of discounted content. The DLC marked with asterisks has achievements associated with it. Download links can be found in the final prices.

How is Section 8 : prejudice ?

| It's always nice to see a lot of good deals like this. I was only planning on buying Code Veronica X today but with the extra points I'll be able to pick up one or two arcade games. Trouble Witches Neo seems nice. |

Is Section 8: Prejudice worth it at 800? How about the map packs at 160 each? Does the multiplayer have any longevity?

$14 US for the whole thing (not including Blitz Pack) doesn't sound too bad, compared with $23 US for the normal price. I might be getting this (but will wait to see what the Friday one-day deals are first).

Section 8, Monday Night Combat (still active online) and Ghostbusters if you have a local co-op player. I wouldn't buy Ghostbusters if you're playing it alone. |

Section 8: Prejudice is well worth it for that price.
Even if you can't find a full game you would never know as any missing players are made up by bots so if you're worried about unattainable achievements you needn't be. Huge maps, 32 players, dedicated servers, a swarm (horde) mode and a fairly decent campaign in there too. Download the demo as it gives you access to the MP side of it for a limited time .... play through the tutorial first though as there are a few new moves in there
Plus being as its on sale that'll automatically bring an influx of new players anyway. I just picked up the maps for it |

PLEASE i am begging you people. Get Outland! Not only is it a great game but i seriously want to see persons online to do some coop play not only because i want that achievement but for the fact i want to see how it plays.
EDIT: Also get Serious Sam for the same reasons! |
