| There's a specific quest later on in the game that requires you to go back into Vault 101, other than during that quest I don't think so. |

| Yeah yOu can pick up the bobblehead during that quest. The other two to watch out for are the one in megaton you can destroy and the one in dive rock just after vault 87. Hope this helps. |

The main entrance to Vault 87 is massively irradiated and impossible to use but you do go into the vault through another area towards the end of the main questline.
As for the White House you can go there but all you will find is a big irradiated crater with a few Glowing Ones wandering around. It may still be worth the trip because you can find a Fatman and a couple of Mini Nukes in there. |
