Plus a producer trailer and traditional breeds screens

The newest installment of The Sims places emphasis on our furry companions with The Sims 3 Pets. The following trailer showcases some of odd the and just plain crazy animals you can get when you pre-order the Limited Edition version of the game. There's the Mabari War Hound, Panda Chow, Tiger Husky, Aztec Panthera, Bone Mastiff, and many many more wacky cat and dog breeds. The video features 'Randall' from a viral YouTube video about a honey badger, although he gets censored quite a bit in EA's trailer.

There are some more traditional breeds featured in these screenshots, but some of the Sims are a bit crazy looking this time. My sincere apologies to the blue and clear people out there.

Agreed with connectmeplease, this should be DLC but oh well, I'll probably pick it up cheap sometime down the track.

How was The Sims on a console anyways? I have no friends who would ever touch it and my curious side would like to be appeased.

I have no friends who would ever touch it and my curious side would like to be appeased. It worked rather well on the 360 which was quite good :) Some of the achievements were a grind to get and others were very easy..Plus there are ways to get achievements slightly quicker since you can have more than 1 family do the same thing to help towards the achievements (hope that makes sense).

I'd only say the grinding achievements sent me batty at times..laugh And there is 1 improvement I'd like...For it to show you clearly how many Lifetime Happiness points you've got.

I'm quite looking forward to this. The mechanics of actually creating the pet seems considerably easier than it did in Sims 2, so I may actually try to make a few. I really hope saves from The Sims 3 don't carry over, since I loved unlocking all the challenges, and because I don't have many more of them left, I stopped playing it. If there were more, then I definitely would have played it, so I can't wait for this to be released and start anew!!

Not that interested in the Limited Edition however. The way I see it, they are just skins, and I'm not wonderfully interested in them since they rarely change the gamplay in any way. That, and I probably wouldn't be able to afford it.
Feel free to PM me about the GTA IV walkthrough, or any problems you're having with the game.

I've been saying since the original Sims 3 came out for the 360 last year that if this was going to be DLC, then I would have been picking up all of the "stuff" packs (furniture, etc). But doing it this way, that DLC won't be compatible with other versions, so I actually think that EA LOST a chance at making more money by not releasing this as a $35 DLC pack.

I loved hearing the guy say "Pegi 12" because he sounded relieved to be saying something different this time. But then the trailer went down hill from there. The voice actor and the writing were terrible. But I guess that's what you get when they spend all their time writing in Simlish.

can't wait. had to grid the last achievement on sims 3. but it was a very enjoyable well executed game, prefer sims3 xbox to sims 3 pc.

I wish they would make a GfWL Sims 3 360 (PC) (or just call it sims 360 PC) and then Sims 3 Pets 360 (PC) for another 2000g and use a 360 pad on the pc!!! I can dream............
ok ok i've got one....... whats the difference between jam and marmalade?
