Intergalactic planetary!
Yesterday, we covered the official announcement of Mass Effect 3's (entirely optional) co-op mode. There is a ton of information to take in, so if you haven't read that news post yet - and subsequently freaked out over it - make sure to do so.
For those of you who are well-informed, you can take a look at this pair of screenshots which provide the first look at the new game mode. Like in the single player, your squad can be made up of different classes and races from the different star systems in the game, as you'll see below. Customization options also promise to be just as deep as the single player story allows.

| Looks like ME, so yay! I was wary about this mode until reading the details about it and I must say it sounds like a good add-on. Definitely a good choice to go co-op and not competitive and what an awesome idea to let you play as different races. Mothereffin' Krogan Army!!! |

| I really enjoy the Mass Effect series. It really seems as though Bioware is trying to get everyone to want to try out the series as well by making it a mainstream shooter everyone can enjoy. Nothing wrong with that since they're trying to make $ that way. I just hope the series doesn't lose itself |

| Not too jazzed up for the MP, on the fence on whether I think I would enjoy it or not. I just like games to be single player experiences or co-op friendly, especially RPG's like Mass Effect and Fallout. |

| Good. I just hope they don't get clever and start designing pvp deathmatches. Games like this are designed for singleplayer (or coop) story-driven play.. not pvp -> that's for CoD and BF. |

Also, for those not wanting multi - at least at the moment, these missions can be played solo (though the BioWare employee who said this added that it's "pretty hard). |
