Summer camp fun for everyone
Have you ever wondered what would happen if Activision published a Cabela game that was aimed squarely at kids? Well, wonder no more; the Kinect-enabled Cabela's Adventure Camp aims to fill the gap in the market. September's announcement hinted at what was to come, but now we have a trailer and screenshots that elaborate further.
While bringing "the fun and enjoyment of the outdoors to living rooms around the country", the game offers a range of mini-games centred around the activities of the traditional summer camp. Players can take part in mountain biking, kayaking, whack-a-mole and jet skiing. There's also the more traditional Cabela activities of clay-pigeon shooting and archery, with wooden targets representing the woodland creature 'kills'.

Cabela's Adventure Camp is not the only Kinect-enabled 2011 Cabela title. Cabela’s Big Game Hunter: Hunting Party also uses Kinect integration, as well as the Top Shot Elite peripheral. Both games are due to be released on November 1st, 2011, alongside a third non-Kinect Cabela title - Cabela’s Survival: Shadows of Katmai. Not enough Cabela for you? Don't forget that this year's Cabela's Big Game Hunter 2012 is already available in stores.

| In the second picture the girl on the right looks like she's trying to aim a gun, even though she doesn't have one... |

| Using the Kinect for a bow-and-arrow sounds like it could work extremely well. |
