Let's burn some kcals
One of the biggest advantages of Kinect has been allowing non-exercising gamers to exercise in a fun way and without judgement. Ubisoft looks to keep gamers interested with their latest Kinect instalment, Your Shape: Fitness Evolved 2012.
Fitness Evolved 2012 looks to get gamers off the couch and in shape with a plethora of exercise styles, ranging from Latin dance to zen classes. To get a better idea of Ubisoft's latest adventure into fitness, check out the newest Fitness Evolved 2012 trailer entitled "Didactical": http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iHSh7CDM2-g Are you ready to become a lean, mean, fighting machine? A destroyer? The Adonis or Helen of your sex? Then head to your local gaming store on November 8th in North America, November 11th in Europe, and November 18th in Australia. |

Just had a look at the achievement list: 200,000 calories?! Christ on a bike, 1000 kcal per week was the goal I set myself on YS:FE and that was tough going. So I might get this achievement in four years. Can't wait. |

| They could have done something sensible like make the achievements based on calories/weight but instead they make it 200k. |

| Kinect trailers always make me laugh. Some gorgeous girl or hunky guy in some huge trendy sunlit room. If only they showed you the reality. I always end up hitting the lampshade or kicking the cat when i play Kinect games, and am usually fooked after about 20 minutes. |

Typical Ubisoft. I thought they stopped making ridiculous cheeves after GRAW and EndWar. Guess not.
Oh well. I wonder if you can get cheeves while sitting in your chair like the last one. Or maybe they'll have 20x calorie weekends. |

| You would have to burn roughly 550 calories a day for 365 days to get the 200k achievement. That is a lot of calories per day for one game, but is probably easier to achieve if you played the first one. |

| Like I said, if I can watch movies or surf while I burn calories sitting like I did for the first one, it would work. But it's still a lot. |

| It's that 200K Achievement that's scaring me away from this one. They'll probably release another sequel before anyone but extreme boosters have that Achievement. |

| 200,000 calories is very hardcore, but if actually wanted to burn that much I can't see a downside. I'm certain everyone would stay motivated to get it if you had a house and a GF that looked like they did in the video. |
