Approaching the end of the line
We've seen all manner of pre-release material for THQ's WWE '12. Many wrestlers have had their intros and finishers released, screenshots have been plentiful, and various game modes such as Road to Wrestlemania and Universe 2.0 have been detailed. We've also been brought up to speed about not one, not two, but three DLC packs that will be coming to the game.
So, with all those details already out their for public consumption, the time has finally come for the WWE '12 launch trailer to be released: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fJGABP0JZkA
WWE '12 releases November 22nd in North America and November 25th in Europe in both a collector's edition and a standard edition. This means you only have a week (or less, if you're in North America) to get in on the game's pre-order bonus. |

| Once upon a time, wrestling games came complete with all the wrestlers included in the disc when it shipped. |

They wont have DLC achievements so I'm OK with them bringing out DLC rasslers, as I wont be buying them,
People create them and you can download them for free anyway.
Still a full week to go before Its out here sadly. |

@Selkirk16 - Yeah, and "once upon a time" the character models were so simple it took 10 minutes to create a new wrestler, cause all you could do is pick from 15 premade faces, a handful of haircuts and an outfit. With technological advances come longer development times, and if they were to have all of those extra characters made in the regular development time, they'd have no time or resources to improve gameplay, add new modes, etc. I hate when people bellyache that things get released as DLC, or things didn't make it into the game. If you think you can do better, I'm sure we'd all love to see you try. In the meantime, they have a strict budget they have to stick to, a short development time, and WWE telling them what they can and can't do... so suck it up and appreciate the good job they do, or just don't play the game.
My only complaint is I would like to see achievements attached to the DLC in future years. |

| Damn it, huge fan of WWE, but have never been this excited about their game coming out. It really looks like they have made a damn good wrestling game. This will hopefully make me forget the horrors of SvR: 2011. |

Kaiser679: I understand what you're saying, but nobody is forcing THQ to put out a "new" game every year. New game modes? You're stretching it a bit. I'll gladly pay for DLC s that extend the plot of a game, but not for map packs or new characters that should have come in the original game.
You're most welcome to hand THQ your money and make them happy. The only reason they're doing this is to maximise their revenue, and they're pushing the line every year on what they can get away with. Nothing wrong with them being greedy, but I don't like to be ripped off so yea, I won't be buying this game. And for a matter of fact I don't think I can do better than them; I just have better games to play (which I gladly spent my cash on) :D |

There will always be complaints from people about titles being released on a yearly basis, but quite a few companies do it now with their games. It's better to just get over it, if they're not releasing a game each year they're shoving another 60 dollars worth of DLC down your throat to COVER another game.
I personally love to see some titles get released yearly, while some I do not... but I never complain about it, I just deal with it and continue to enjoy my games, regardless of it they're viewed as a "DLC Expansion Game" or not. If they released all the content as DLC I'd be paying the same price anyways.
People are allowed to hate companies all they want, but things are the way they are. Love your games, don't hate them due to a companies greed (if you can even consider it that). |

| It is kind of bogus all the DLC they are announcing. They should already be in the damn game, DLC for this game should be new wrestlers that come on after the game is released, intro themes, diffrent attires. Perfect example is Cody Rhodes, they just got rid of his mask and changed his music, now when you use him in game, it's already outdated. |

| Those in the U.S. check your Wal-Mart stores. I saw it on the shelf already (about an hour ago). |
