Welcome to the Nexuiz Competition!
With Nexuiz being confirmed to still be in development a few days ago, a new world exclusive gameplay trailer has been released for the upcoming Illfonic developed, THQ published, XBLA first-person shooter.
The trailer shows off clips of gameplay in a battle between "Kavussari and the Forsellians". The action is fast and aggressive in a similar fashion to popular shooters, such as Unreal Tournament 3. Thanks to a license deal with Crytek, the upcoming frantic shooter will be graphically blessed with the use of Cry Engine 3. If the stunning visuals of http://www.trueachievements.com/Crysis2-xbox-360.htm are anything to go by, then Nexuiz's maps, characters and weapons should be looking pretty sweet once the game is released.

I'm not entirely sure why members from each team were shooting at what seemed to be a whale in the sky; it must be some funky type of UAV or Recon Plane from another planet.
Just in case you couldn't hear what the lovely commentator had to say in the video, the lady explains why these two factions are fighting each other in this hate-filled galaxy:
For centuries the Kavussari and the Forsellians have waged war. They have a fragile truce but due to their seething disgust of each other they still pit their warriors against each other in arenas rather than on the fields of war. Those episodes of lethal combat are now broadcast throughout the galaxy, as entertainment... a spectacle known as... The Nexuiz Competition: An arena based first person shooter where you can alter the rules of the match and laws of physics while you dominate opponents in ever-changing hostile environments bleeding with hatred.Nexiuz is currently slated for a 2012 release.

Mostly exited because it's using CryEngine.
And we need more Twitch Shooters. I'd take this over Call of the Battlefield: Generic Brown Shooter. |

Quake + Halo = Nexuiz
Never fell for Halo but i like Quake... the game seems good. |

Is there PC version as well? I can't see myself playing fast paced fps on console lol.

| the games been out on the pc for like ever now lol its a free to play online download game already it gets billions of patches though but if you wana try out already then go ahead its wayyyy fast pace but if you into that kinda thing then be my guest ill download demo on xbox for sure one day buy i doubt though cause the generic shooters are gona have way to much dlc by that time the game comes out js id rather spend more time on a game i spend more money on lol |
