The Truth Behind RISING
Konami have recently released an extended trailer for Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, while the majority of this trailer is the same as the VGA 2011: Metal Gear Rising trailer, it now has an extended run-time of approximately 20 seconds.

As we mentioned in our previous story, Konami had promised that plenty more details on Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance would surface shortly. Konami have now relased their behind the scenes video "The Truth Behind RISING". The video has a run-time of 25 minutes and features video commentary by Hideo Kojima from Konami and Atsushi Inaba from Platinum Games, detailing the trials and tribulations faced by the developers and the birth of the collaboration between Kojima Productions and Platinum Games.

| I'm feeling more optimistic about this game now. At first I though this was a bunch of horse shit, Now I'm Happy to see that at least the project didn't get scrapped. |

The 25 min. video is very informative and interesting, but I wish they would have cut out all of the documentary-style shots of Japan. It would have been a much shorter and to-the-point video that way, and would keep the focus on the game itself.
That said, the video officially got me excited for the game, and I think that as long as people see this as a true collaboration and something that is distinctly new for Metal Gear that we could be in for something really special. MGS5 this is not, remember that.

| Well so much for the Bayonetta 2 rumors, I can foresee Raiden being a DLC character in the upcoming Anarchy Reigns which will be amazing IMO. It should be coming out next month actually. I wonder why they updated the trailer to show that very brief scene of the guy in the box, fanboy catering? This game would sell regardless. |

| I wounder if theyll make another gme involving raiden takeng place between mgs2 and mgs4 cuz at first thats was rising was about. Im anxious to see wat happend to him after mgs2 and also i wounder if he'll make a game inolving the boss and the cobra unit. that would be badass to see the legendary boss become a legend. |
