Save 50% on the DiRT series
We've been seeing a lot of the DiRT series lately, with DiRT Showdown being announced, as well as DiRT 3 recently being featured as the Best Buy deal of the day. This week you can purchase two different LIVE enabled PC games from the DiRT series for half off:
DiRT 2 (PC) - $39.99/£34.99 $19.99/£17.49 DiRT 3 (PC) - $49.99/£49.99 $24.99/£24.99
You can download the titles here
While we're on the subject of GFWL deals, we have a few others from outside the xbox.com marketplace to highlight. Two sales are from the site GamersGate [Thanks, fuzzyGURU], and one is from retailer Gamestop.
GamersGate Dead Rising 2 (PC) - $29.95 $14.98 Dead Rising 2: Off The Record (PC) - $39.99 $19.95
Gamestop Batman: Arkham City (PC) $49.99 $29.99 |

Typo in Thread Title, you put GWFL instead of GFWL.
Thanks for the news, some of these are pretty good;
Batman and Dead Rising 2: OFR are great, AND have great discounts.
Gotta love GFWL, 2 lists of achievements for 2 different versions of the same game. |
If you read this, you're awesome, however if you tell me you read this, you're a fudgesickle. |

In further news, £24.99 DOES NOT EQUAL $24.99. from xe.com/ucc: 24.99 US$ = 16.0893 GB£ 1 USD = 0.643831 GBP, 1 GBP = 1.55320 USD
In even further news, £17.49 DOES NOT EQUAL $19.99 19.99 US$ = 12.8711 GB£ 1 USD = 0.643831 GBP, 1 GBP = 1.55320 USD
UK prices should be around £15.99 and £12.99 respectively. Or you can get the disk versions for cheaper... |

i'm getting sick of being fucked over by companies charging outrageous prices. The exchange rate is 1.55 yet £24.99 = $24.99.
Disgusting. |

| I saw the headline, and thought "yes! Time to get DiRT" but even half price they are more than some online retailers. |

Still expensive, dirt 2 on PC is £17 thats a joke, and to have a listed price of £50 initially for Dirt 3 is just a LOL price.

| Aside from the prices not being deals, I wouldn't be surprised if the extra £ vs $ is due to VAT. |

Dirt 2 at 19.99$ is not a discount, it's the regular sale price on Steam. Anyone thinking about either Dirt 2 or 3 should wait for 75% off deals during Steam Christmas sale.
Batman is an ok deal if you missed the 25$ sales during Thanksgiving. Else, again, I'd suggest waiting for Steam sale, it will probably be around 20$ at that point. |
