Before Cole Phelps was Xbox's resident gumshoe, before Batman adopted the nickname "World's Greatest Detective", there was Sherlock Holmes. Developer Frogwares is looking to continue the long, storied history of Holmes and Watson with The Testament of Sherlock Holmes, which is their sixth Sherlock Holmes game. This latest story puts Holmes in a position he has never been in before -- as the primary suspect. Here's Frogware's own synopsis of their tale.
1898, London. All the evidence of police investigation points at Sherlock Holmes as the main suspect in a case involving theft, fraud and double-crossings. Unable to prove his own innocence, Holmes is rapidly losing London’s trust as doubt spreads through the city like wildfire. Even Doctor Watson's faith in his friend begins to waver, as the famous detective flees Scotland Yard and raises further suspicion; prowling around at night, destruction of evidence... would Holmes go so far as to commit murder?http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vxrUe4YJKBI

| Sherlock Holmes versus Jack the Ripper was an enjoyable, easy 100% despite its ugly graphics. I believe this is the same developer; it certainly sounds like the same voice actor for Watson. With upgraded graphics, I think this will be a most entertaining game as well. |

| I hope there's no really annoying glitches with this as there were with the Jack The Ripper case. I'm still 10 achievements short on that because I need to restart it :( |
