It's a dance-a-thon!
This week's Gears of War 3 weekend brings us two separate events (both running all weekend, of course!), which will appeal to the versus and Horde mode players out there.
On the versus side, this week sees the return of the Brothers to the End playlist - a 2v2 Team Deathmatch game mode.
For those Horde-ers amongst you, this week brings the Horde Dance-a-Thon, which allows you to gain extra XP and bonus cash the longer you can stay alive. Once you fail a wave and your streak is over, your XP and cash bonus will reset to their original level. You don't need to restart Horde to get the benefit of the bonuses, however - once you continue, the bonuses will start to rack up again.
Whose going to be using that extra XP to bring themselves closer to prestiging ahead of Fenix Rising's release this Tuesday?
The Gears of War 3 Weekend is already under way and will run through Sunday. Like all Gears 3 weekend events, participation counts toward the Socialite achievement. |

I'll actually be skipping this weekend. I'm at, like, level 99 2/3 so I'll be waiting to level up on Tuesday. ;) |

| bonus cash woo still need like a million on my silverback for stupidrockets. I think they should make an update or even have an event where you can get more than one SB going at a time. It's soo boring to try and level it up on your own but when i do public games its a mad dash to get it operational. also sitting at lvl 82 so itd be nice to jump up a bit closer to 100 to start the re-upage |

| If anyone here is interested in obtaining the horde command pack cheevos...I could use some help. On the other hand...... How many events have come out so far? I got side tracked by assassins creed and stoped playing gears :( |

The only problem with this is that if you get it the game after, you won't be able to re-up regardless because the medal will have already unlocked won't it? Unless it's automatic in which case, awesome!
I can't wait for the chance to level up again, staying at 100 was getting boring. Just wish this was a weekend later, or the DLC was a week sooner. |
