Vague schedule for COD Elite DLC also revealed
Some of you may have noticed a recent title update for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. Now we can reveal the exact tweaks and gameplay improvements that were made to the game in the eighth title update to hit the Xbox 360. It is quite a short and sweet little list:
Networking enhancements, Theater improvements and fixes, Further improvements to "Host Disadvantage" / "Lag Comp", Increased speed of YouTube uploads from 32k to 256k, Nerf to all Akimbo weapons (reduced fire rate), Shotgun re-balance (Slight nerf to Striker, slight buff to all other shotguns), Fix that prevents some users from not receiving their prestige token after prestiging, fix stat bug that retains "games played" stat across prestiges.In addition to the title update, the first pieces of DLC were made available to Call of Duty Elite Premium members on Tuesday in the form of two maps: Piazza and Liberation. The maps will be released to non-Premium COD players at a later unannounced date, but you can feast your eyes on these screenshots in the meantime. Alternatively, have a look at this new trailer:

COD Elite promised to drop 20 pieces of DLC over the coming months. Having had the first two, what does Activision, Infinity Ward and Sledgehammer have in store for you? Well, they've released a vague schedule of content drops while managing to remain incredibly scant on the details. Here is the full list:
• February: Map
• March: Map and two missions
• April: Two maps
• May: Map and mission
• June: Map, mission and game mode
• July: Two maps
• August: Map, mission and game mode
• September: Map and mission
We'll bring you more details as we hear them!

| How about making the game longer by giving us the mission we should have got when we bought the game new for $60. Think I will keep my $50 instead of paying $110 for this game cause it aint worth it. |

| Sad to see the DLC schedule, I might get the mission ones barring they have Achievo's which they won't but i'm glad I held off the elite...I figured they'd add some guns from MW2 but noooo why do that? |

Not bought Elite yet. Still plating mw3 even though i could be playing something else. it's fun and addictive and all my friends play it.
Might get elite - all dlc is worth it. and the content we are getting is more than we usually do. So not sure why the complaints keep coming in.
Bad thing - Is free dlc a member drive for activision - will it be free next year or will they tighten the purse strings.
Elite would not have been cheap to design and build, nor would paying all the stars they have doing the productions. Sam W, Bateman etc etc etc.
They will want a return. As long as it stays sweet for the customer i am happy to play along. |

Secondly, to be fair to him, Emily Browning (his gamerpic) is hot.
Now, onto the point, I had spin at the multiplayer earlier and I thought that the FMG9 was noticably weaker but I didn't try the Type 95.

| I don't feel ripped off by the content by any means. I don't enjoy the new maps, but that's just because I"m not good at them. They are unique and the complete opposite of my playstyle. There are a lot of catacombs and winding roads and for a sniper, that really sucks. Maybe I'll find a sweet spot eventually and start liking them. Other than than, If you figure the last three map packs were 15 dollars each and brought a total of 10 maps. I paid 50 bucks for my subscription. That's 5 dollars more than the individual price, plus I get more content. On top of that, I made sure that I don't have to come up with the 15 bucks when it drops, and I get it early. That gives me more time to work the kinks out before the kids come on and start kicking my butt. |

As long as you (or the above CoD fanboy) prefer to not just ignore but want to prevent every bad opinion like that monkey ('see nothing, hear nothing, tell nothing')... well that pretty much explains everything about you not seeing this.
I suggest you pathetic pro-CoDs learn to handle critics on games (as in the case of CoD there will be more and more as long as it keeps being repetitive shit).
