The Results Are In!
Hi all,
I’d like to first thank everyone who voted, the response has been fantastic. In just under a month of voting we’ve had over 135,000 votes and it is now my pleasure to bring you the results of the TrueAchievements Game of the Year Awards 2011!
New for this year, the Game of the Year, as well as the rest of the winners will each receive exclusive TA rosettes on their respective game pages, crowning their glory for all to see!

It's been another great year for the Xbox. A plethora of excellent titles have been released, with sequels in particular receiving much critical acclaim. Altogether 240 games received nominations for the Game of the Year, but there can of course only be one winner.

| how is it even possible that Mass Effect 2 didnt even get recognized? The Arrival should have won best DLC over all the shitty map packs that got voted for. FOR SHAME! |

Sorry to do this but, Skyrim= piece of shit. I thought there were far more deserving titles for Game of the year.
Also, interesting wins in all catergories. Happy that RF: Battlegrounds got runner up. |

A very worthy winner. While I admit I don't own it, I have watched several playthroughs on YouTube, as well as played it at a friend's house. It's definitely a game that I'm going to get to play over the long summer after uni!!

Great games! I'm very pleased to see Gears of War 3 was well voted for, many "Game of the Year" awards around the web didn't even have Gears 3 nominated.
My top 3 this year were Arkham City, Gears 3 and Deus Ex - nice to see all 3 titles up there (even as runners up)! |

| I'm really surprised gears of war 3 won best shooter. even more surprised MW3 didn't win or get runner up. Not that i'm upset about it. I just would have flipped the results of the shooter catagory |
