Big Boss, Ocelot and...
Following on from Sunday's review of Metal Gear Solid HD, we're offering you the chance to, once again, win our review copy!

Metal Gear is home to some of the sneakiest and most memorable boss fights, and we want you to create a new terror against which you'd like to see Snake face off:
Let us know your character's name, a brief bio (a sentence or two is fine) and what would make your boss fight unique. Enter by commenting to this article.
We'll be picking a shortlist of the ten we like best from your entries, removing the Gamertags, and asking a panel of Newshounds to vote on their anonymous favourites. Please make sure to read through our very short list of rules and regulations below. Good luck!

Boss Name: The Gamer
Brief bio: Time-space researcher developed a new technology that makes him able to control chains of events.
The boss fight is completly normal and quite easy. It takes place in a special room full of strange devices. You just shot at him until his lifebar is empty. In that moment, he says that he should load a previous save and the encounter restarts as the first time you reached him. This happens every time you kill him. You have to figure how to destroy the machinery in the room that allows him to do so, and when you beat him after that, he'll realize that his "save" will be corrupt and he won't be able to load it. Congratulations, you've defeated The Gamer. :P |

Name: Charlie Sheen-O
Bio: After years of drugs and alcohol use, Sheen-O has transformed into a psychotic Warlock. Together with his Tiger-skinned F-16 which he calls his goddess he will take revenge on Snake. You see, only Sheen-O will be the one winning and since Snake humiliated Sheen-O before he turned into this mighty Warlock by beating him in a game of scrabble by creating the winning word Estevez.
Boss Fight: Sheen-O uses a Tiger-skinned F-16 which will drop acid tigerblood bombs. Even a little drop of this stuff will deplete Snakes HP by 25%. It's possible for Snake to bring down the F-16 which will make Sheen-O open up his parachute made out of grizzly skin. After landing he will take a bottle of pure Alcohol and change into the Adonis god himself. This form is practically invincible. After firing hundreds of bullets and the various use of gadgets Snake will find out that by only after changing into a Boar suit, Snake can have the upperhand, if he can manage to pierce a horn through his thigh, in which case Sheen-O will come to his death, in his last breath the word Winning shall be heard.

Name: Desperate Snake
Bio: During Desperate Snake's time with FOXHOUND he had a falling out with 'Big Boss' over who was hotter, the hot Olsen Twin or the other one (yes this would have been many years ago, they're sick), Desperate Snake went into hiding. Over a decade passed and the prospect of winning a copy of Metal Gear Solid HD was a sufficient catalyst - Desperate Snake emerges from hiding to steal the game from Solid Snake (David Hayter).
Boss Fight: Desperate Snake has active camo akin to Gray Fox in MGS. To defeat him, one only needs to box him into a corner eg - let him run out of bullets, corner him in a room and lock the door, etc. Killing him is - spoiler alert - not very good for the plot! |

My Characters Name : Big Boss (reading the bio, the character believes himself to be Big Boss)
Bio: A terrible organisation have somehow managed to obtain the last remnants of active DNA from Big Boss and used it to create a Doppelganger, with some strange new abilities. In true game style, the doppelganger turns against his creators and hunts down Snake, so that he is the only Big Boss/Snake there is. The Doppelganger has the ability to materialise himself into anyone Snake has come into contact with in his life and also has a natural stealth camouflage, which is like the stealth you obtain in the games
The battle will occur at the end of the game, after the doppelganger has teased snake all the way through the game, using personas from Snakes past. To battle this doppelganger Snake has to use all his abilites, hiding, sneaking, marksmanship to obtain a specialised extractor that the doppelganger has on his person. When Snake finally obtain this, he has to hide, from a now agitated doppelganger and when he is hidden, he has to extract his own blood into this device, the sneak once again to inject it into the doppelganger to weaken him and make him vulnerable to normal gunfire - a very testing boss battle |

Bio a former carnival geek recruited just to do one thing.... To kill solid snake. After years in a lab studying everything on snake he is unleaded on the world. He knows everyone of snakes moves except one. You can only sneak up on him using the most unique thing in your arsenal the dreaded Cardboard Box. Dun dun duuuuuuuun. |

Boss name: The Continuance
Bio: In 1895 test subject James Heller was given an experimental top secret bio-serum by The Patriots. This has granted him immortality (thanks to non-ageing), immense strength and endurance, and the ability to control the thoughts of others. Soon after he gets these powers, he goes rogue and destroys the lab in which the serum created, so all record of the secret formula is lost. He is now known as The Continuance, and works as a Black Ops Mercenary.
The boss battle: Snake encounters Continuance within Phoenix Gear, a flying battlestation with the power to level entire countries.The fight starts as a fairly typical boss fight, exchanging fire from cover etc., until Continuance realises Snake is a superior soldier to him. He then uses his mind control power on Snake. Snake is instantly paralysed and has his head invaded by Continuance's power, and is now fighting a mental battle with him.
The setting will be hazy and dreamlike, with all sorts of random elements appearing, and will essentially be travelling through different wars, experiences and time periods Continuance has been through (his memories essentially). You'll fight him through trenches in WWI, through the Spanish Civil War, WW2, Vietnam, and the Gulf War. Snakes Arsenal will change to weapons of the time period as the battle progresses.
Gameplay wise it will be a cat-and-mouse scenario, with Snake tracking Continuance over some large maps. It will be a long/epic boss battle lasting around 45 minutes.
When you defeat him finally, Snake will have overcome the battle of the minds and Continuance has been reduced to a vegetative state back in reality. Snake will then muse about what it means to be Solider etc. etc. |

Boss Name: The Memester
Bio: This guy has spent years and YEARS doing scientific reseach for various agencies through the use of the internet, during his quiet times, he has however struck boredom at endless amounts of porn, and looked for other entertainment. He has since become the creator of all of the most popular virals, memes and photobombs online. After making it to his chamber through a seriously tough maze filled with badgers, mushrooms, morally questionable bears, a dinosaur with a degree, and enemies profusely eating cereal, Snake is confronted by the scene of the Memester bled out on the floor, after what looks like quite a bloody battle. In his hand is what looks like a suicide note, and there is a projectile sticking out of his body. The note reads:
"Snake, I was really looking forward to being a tough adversary for you in this game, however I took an arrow to the Knee." |

Boss: Samuel. L. Jackson
Location: On a plane.
Bio: After finishing the main plot of the game and defeaing what snake thought was the final boss, he boards a plane to go home, somehow getting their wires crossed, Samuel. L. Jackson shouts his lane "I've had it with these motherf****** snakes on this motherf****** plane".
Snake mishearing this, believes this to be an assassin and they getting into an epic hand to hand fight.
This fight will be much harder than the original end boss fight, because its S.L.J, one of the baddest mofo's around. |

Bio: Um... does it matter? my name is NECRO!
My ability would that I could bring past villians back to aid in the fight, so it would be basicly all the zombified Bosses of old, kind of like a marathon fight. After you fight thru, the droves you put one well aimed shot in my head. Battle over. Most epic fight ever! |

Name: Charizard
Bio: Charizard resembles a large traditional European dragon. Despite the resemblance, Charizard is explicitly a Fire/Flying-type, not a Dragon-type. Charizard have two wings that are blue, while the back is orange, as with the most of its body. Its belly and soles are cream-colored, while their eyes are light blue in color. The video games describe Charizard as having wings that can carry them close to an altitude of 4,600 feet, flying proudly around the sky and constantly seeking for powerful opponents to quarrel with. They can breathe intense flames that can melt any material, but will never torch a weaker foe. If Charizard become angry, the flame at the tip of their tail can flare up in a whitish-blue color. Because of their reckless behavior, Charizard are known to unintentionally cause wildfires.
After humiliating Snake time after time in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Snake plans his revenge!
Boss Fight: Snake has to sneak behind Charizard and try to capture it in a large box, or Pokéball. If that fails, Snake needs to use a Water-type Pokémon, like Squirtle. It's Super Effective! Not a hard battle, even though things sure can get "hot". |

Boss Name: Terminator
Bio: Was just a regular citizen till after a fatal accident where snake somehow got him stuck in the crossfire. Now he's part bionic, with 2 heat detecting eyes. He's now out for snake for revenge.
Boss battle: you'll be stuck in a warehouse full of crates and boxes with just you and him. He can see your every move however there will be vents around the whole place where you can let smoke out. This will cause him to be dazed for a few seconds before he'll open his eyes again and start attacking. It'll be as frustrating as they come till you realize(from a codec on the back of the case of course) that his heat detecting eyes can't see through cardboard then you'll have to switch the vents hide in the box and attack him when he least expects it. It gets harder as he begins to realize you hide in cardboard boxes. Once actually defeated his eyes will start to glow as a last defence and he'll have himself set to blow up so he can't take you out with him. Then you'll have to escape the warehouse the way you can in while dodging henchmen also trying to escape and take you out. |

Name: Jake
Bio: Jake lives at home in his parents basement, is currently unemployed, and usually wears t-shirts that are two sizes too small for him. He has no girlfriend, or even a desire to obtain one. Jake is perfectly content to live out the rest of his days in his parents house, which he will inherit when they pass away, along with a substantial sum of money. He is mostly happy.
Boss Fight: The end of the final level has the player pulling the plug on a mysterious wire, which, unbeknownst to the player, cuts power to Jakes basement home. Jake can no longer play his Xbox 360 or watch any of his favorite movies or surf the internet. This greatly angers Jake; so much so that he attacks the player. He uses a myriad of attacks including Pizza Stained t-shirt whip, dropping stacks of job applications on the player that his parents brought home but that Jake never filled out, flinging his now useless DVDs at the player, and RAGEQUIT, an extremely powerful attack that sees Jake throwing his old RROD Xbox at the player and making it explode on contact. The only way to defeat Jake is to dodge his attacks long enough that he becomes exhausted and stops attacking, at which time the player sneaks past Jake's almost lifeless body and plugs his lifeblood back in. |

Boss name:Chuck Norris
Location: Temple in Nepal
Bio:Chuck Norris the original bad ass challenges Snake to a fight to the death
Boss:You don't beat Chuck Norris. He beats you. Thankfully the temple contains legendary scissors which Snakes uses to cut of Chuck Norris beard a greater shame then death itself which causes him to commit Hara Kiri and a cheesy line by Snake. |

bio: years after metal gear the cardboard box has been mainstreaming until he heard about his past coming back to haunt him in the shape of a hd remake of his most dreaded entertainment apperance!!!
Boss fight: possibly the easiest fight ever.... Pee on him haha |
