| So I got the DLC, and I've beaten them 11 times so far. And alas, on the first battle I managed to get Amodar, but I haven't yet got Lightning. It's not exactly an arduous battle but it's getting a bit tedious now. I was just wondering if anyone has in fact managed to recruit Lightning or maybe whether it'll only let you have one of the two at a time and I have to get rid of Amodar. |

Aha, I see I'm not the only one who hasn't obtained the crystal xD
Well at least you have 1 of them, I have none, I've beaten them quite a few times now and nothing, well, I've gotten "Lightnings Cross" which is an accessory but nothing aside from that, just keep pounding away at them, we'll get it eventually =] |

Mmmk, seems like I've been luckier than I thought then lol.
I can only imagine that Lightning is going to be a pretty amazing COM as well going from how Amodar is. At max, which is only level 13 (so thankful it isn't as costly as Odin was) he has 6 atb segments, 12k hp and 800 str without any infusions. I'm determined to get this tonight now. |

| Got her crystal on my 2nd try. I can say this , if I had spent more time trying to get her earlier in the game, it would have made thing so easy... but now that i've 100% the game, it's a bit late... Is she better than the blue chocobo ? Definitely way better in my opinion... That is of couse if you can get her to lvl 13. about 800 str/magic and 6.5k hp when upgraded with normal crystal, without any infusion. |

| Ah nice, I've done around 50 or so battles and still no luck, gonna keep trying. Should make farming a lot easier anyway, and with a nice Tonberry 35% magic infusion she should be dealing quite some damage. |

I got her the other day, I forgot to post.
She is pretty damn good, and I prefer my party to be COM/RAV/RAV anyway, so all is good!
Mine has 940 or so magic thanks to one infusion, definitely worth grinding it out until you get her.
I tried to make things easier to by doing this:
Turn on the "Capture More Monsters" fragment skill, increases crystal drop rate by 20%
And apparently using Feral Link as a finishing attack increases the odds of obtaining any crystal. |

| Yeah, after trying about 20 times and not getting either i realized i only had to get the last 2 fragments at Vile Peaks to get the "Capture More Monsters" fragment skill lol...got the fragment skill and then got Lightning on my 2nd try lol...wish i had did that earlier, though i farmed quite a bit of crystals for leveling her up...with 1 infusion i have her over 1000 magic and around 6000 HP |

| still trying to get lightning, only fought them 3 times and got Alomar 2nd go, so its not all bad i suppose, have the fragment skill running all the time trying to capture everything i can ^^ decided to play it like pokemon |
