Soundtrack information released, too
With EA Canada's SSX daring gamers to "own the planet", it's a foregone conclusion that the dare won't be easily completed. In the game, you'll have to master the 9 Deadly Descents across different locations. One of those steep, wintery locales is the Himalayas. If you're not afraid of heights, you may enjoy the new trailer that shows off the famous mountain range.

In other SSX news, EA has released the full track listing for their game. Like other sports games from EA, and most other sports game in general, SSX will feature a hefty list of licensed music. In this case, the list is comprised mostly of dubstep and electronica to get your adrenaline pumping like a big snowy rave, though there is some indie rock and hip-hop mixed in as well.

Looking at the gameplay, it's fun, energetic, and over-the-top, but "deadly descents" just doesn't really fit the name of the game itself. |

Well apart from RunDMCI don't know many either and I'm 22. It's just not a mainstream group of musicians. It's all dance/rave/ecstasy stuff.  Not my scene. |

haha its good to feel old dance/rave/jungle/electro/hardcore/breakbeat scene music from 86-94 was ace but the dance/rave music now is shit and is evident on this shite soundtrack only one is run dmc and thats a fucking remix edit
and im only 21 and i know a shit load better music to put on this soundtrack
even on other ea games soundtrack is shit need for speed for example after underground 2 soundtrack for that game genre has been shit , fifa soccer or football to me there sound track is shit since 2009 its like e.a cant be botherd to find decent old music to put on games its like find a new artist to put on the game for the new mentally challenged music generation since 2001 which is shit to begin with. but then again E.A are money grabbing wankers so it dosnt change much |

Some of my favorite bands have been featured on EA Sports games, like Saves The Day, Anti-Flag, and The Sleeping. On this SSX soundtrack, I only like Pretty Lights, though. |

| Does anyone know the control layout yet? I've been hoping it'd use an adapted version of EA Skate's control scheme. If so, I'll buy it. Otherwise, it's entirely worth skipping right past. |

Personally, I think this soundtrack is pretty sweet - I've been pretty high on Pretty Lights lately, and you can't go wrong with Flux Pavillion and Skrillex. |
